I know, I know ... this is such a silly question. OBVIOUSLY, with all the things they've been saying over the last few years, all the republicans on this forum must be able to recite the birthplaces, parentage and citizen status of every single one of the republicans currently engaged in their half-hearted jostle for position by heart. Right?

    So let's see it.

If this is intended to be a jab at the birther crowd, I was never part of it and thought it was silly from the beginning. I only began to start having doubts later on once things that should have been easily disproven were not being disproven.

LOL!! :) Fact is... President Obama's 'citizenship' is better confirmed and verified than ANY of the other candidates running. That is indisputable.

I can neither confirm nor deny that this was intended as a jab at the birther crowd.

Who are still starting threads.

I took it as seriously as anything else in the beginning. Which, admittedly, isn't very seriously ... but it seemed that there was an answer for all of the birther accusations, they just kept coming up with questions. Which is great, scrutinize the guys in suits all you want. The birthers may be nonsensical but if it keeps Obama (another guy in a suit) on his toes, great.

I just hope that they were this interested in the guys in suits that they favored. Otherwise, they would be revealed as partisan hypocrites.

After Bush and the Florida 2000 debacle, I think that all elections should be scrutinized for shenanigans, not just the ones that don't turn out the way I like. Everybody agrees with that, right?

I'm not sure where they were all born, but I know when. Sometime around the middle ages.

Tell us where Obama was really born and we will tell you where our candidates are from.

Stupid commentary. We KNOW where the President was born... more so than likely ANY other politician.

Obama could have ended the controversy a couple of years ago if he had just put out his long form when asked. It might never have come up if his grandmother hadn't said he was born in Africa and you could get a Hawaiian birth certificate even if not born in Hawaii.

How is it any better or worse? They all provide the same documentation as proof.

They were all born in Hawaii with Obama and his grandmother signed their Birth Certificates. That makes them legit.

Wouldn't it be hypocritical of the democrat, liberal left to question the legitimacy of anyone that the republicans run as a candidate? I mean, all you hear from that group is how ridiculous those birther accusations are and those righties that would like to see some of Obama's sealed records. Why would the democrat-liberal left even consider wanting or needing that information?

How about instead the Republicans here, say the same thing the liberals said when that question was asked about Barack Obama.

    That being.

    Who cares?

    Is this some joke thread?

Anyway, if anyone is interested, of the four remaining GOP candidates three were born in Pennsylvania (Santorum, Paul and Gingrich), Romney was born in Michigan.

    ROTFLMAO
So, let's get this straight. You think the birthers are idiots but you joined them anyway?
When you find a huge pile of horse (*)(*)(*)(*) on the ground, do you also think, "Ooh, I bet there's a pony in there somewhere!"?

Oh Marine- you know I like you. You repeatedly impress me by looking at things from a Conservative point of view- but being able to comprehend other points of view. So this disappoints me.

If I show you that his grandmother never said any such thing, will you stop saying she did?

Has anyone ever shown you an example of a Birth Certificate issued by the State of Hawaii, showing a person was born in Hawaii even though not born in Hawaii.

Because these two are among the typical Birther talking points and just are not true. If you are open to rational discussion on these talking points, i would be glad to pursue them with you.

Nobody but Obama has provided any documentation.

We have seen his birth certificate. The State of Hawaii said he was born there.

    The other candidates- nothing.

Now, I don't really care that much- I assume they were all born here, just as we assumed Bush and Clinton were.

Prove to me that all Republican candidates are not Russian sleeper agents. I have it on good authority that they are. Prove me wrong :)

Going birther is like becoming a zombie. There's no going back.
    The disease destroys the brain.
