I don't think the claim was ever made that Israel can do whatever other countries can do. However, one thing the pro-Palestinian side loves to ignore is that the reason that Israel is forced into these hard-line positions is that the Palestinians want to kill as many of them as possible. Even "cease fires" don't stop Palestinians from lobbing rockets into civilian areas, attempting to suicide bomb major commercial centers, and so on. So it's not as simple as "Pakistan is a badass too" just that given the actual situation on the ground, any sane nation on earth is going to do whatever they have to do to protect their own citizens. In most cases, giving in to UN or European demands would mean that they have no way to protect against the next suicide bomber or the next rocket attack. You can't make this low-grade war into anything else without de feacto demanding that one side allow the other side to kill them.

The army officer will be tried. No one has any evidence that he won't. Cut the crap.

Evil photography shows Israeli's doing things that are out of context. Evil doers take photos and compare it to Nazi's. Nothing could be further from the truth. Israel could really take things out on the persons who live in Gaza and the West Bank and yet, they do not.
