Where did your "evidence" video disproving any of the following?:

# That Anwar Sadat made peace offers to Israel on various occasions --- all rejected
# That the Sabra generals and the European politicians are on record as acknowledging that Nasser was just rattling a sabre in 1967

I have reproduced the PREAMBLE and the 28 Articles of the Mandate for Palestine in here for ALL to read. I am sure this will be an eye opener for some, and to all those who still believe that the State of Israel was <created> when in reality it was RECONSTITUTED.

MANDATE FOR PALESTINE
Preamble

The Council of the League of Nations:
Whereas the Principal Allied Powers have agreed, for the purpose of giving effect to the provision of Article 22 of the Covenant of the League of Nations, to entrust to a Mandatory selected by the said powers the administration of the territory of Palestine, which formerly belonged to the Turkish Empire, within such boundaries as may be fixed by them ; and
Whereas the Principal Allied Powers have also agreed that the Mandatory should be responsible for putting into effect the declaration originally made on November 2nd, 1917, by the Government of His Britannic Majesty, and adopted by the said Powers, in favor of the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people, it being clearly understood that nothing should be done which might prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country ; and
Whereas recognition has thereby been given to the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the ground for RCONSTITUTING their national home in that country : and

Throughout, preamble included, I see only a HOMELAND within a Country, and that that country called Palestine. You keep on trying to weasel "State of Israel" into the document without showing one iota of evidence of this, your prime claim. I repeat ... the concept of a Jewish state exists nowhere in the words of the Mandate. Your own quote makes that crystal clear. We can read, HBendor. The bit highlighted in red above clearly states that the Jewish homeland will be created in Palestine. But then it goes on to state more which supports only a homeland within the country of Palestine, as follows:

Article 2: "The Mandatory shall be responsible for placing the country under such political, administrative and economic conditions as will secure the establishment of the Jewish national home" [Let me underline that: "... the country ... will secure the establishment of the Jewish national home". Once again it is clear that this Jewish homeland is to be established in "the country", referring to the same "Palestine" mentioned in the preamble]

Article 4: "An appropriate Jewish agency shall be recognised as a public body for the purpose of advising and co-operating with the Administration of Palestine in such economic, social and other matters as may affect the establishment of the Jewish national home and the interests of the Jewish population in Palestine, and, subject always to the control of the Administration to assist and take part in the development of the country." [Once again it is confirmed that the Homeland will be in "the country" and not that "it will be THE country", as you are trying to make out. It is kindergarten simplicity]

Article 5: "The Mandatory shall be responsible for seeing that no Palestine territory shall be ceded or leased to, or in any way placed under the control of the Government of any foreign Power." [Yet more confirmation]

Article 6: "... settlement by Jews on the land, including State lands."[Yet more confirmation that the Jewish homeland will be formed within a state/country, but not be that state/country]

Article 7 (brace yourself HBendor, your King is under terminal threat with this one): "The Administration of Palestine shall be responsible for enacting a nationality law. There shall be included in this law provisions framed so as to facilitate the acquisition of Palestinian citizenship by Jews who take up their permanent residence in Palestine" [OUCHIES!!! Major pain]

Oooops .... with that last one your King toppled over. You have not engineered a victorious Check-mate. Instead you have displayed yet another MEGA FAILED!! But now it is time to remove your King from the board entirely, and I believe this is the best way to do it, with a quote from the 'Churchill' White Paper of 1922 (click the blue for source). This let's the Jewish state appear to be a democracy while giving it the flexibility to suspend Constitutional rights and authority whenever. Every year the Knesset meet about adopting a Constitution and every year it is declined.

In case it has affected your memory, what was involved was my rebuttal which fully pointed out Article by Article that nowhere in the document which you provided as so-called evidence for the creation of such a Jewish State over all of Palestine, would anyone be able to find your supposed provision. I repeat, it was YOU who provided that document to "show" the "legality" of Israel. And now you deliver this weird tale. Do you know what a Strawman debate is? You were forced use these blatant strawman chats about Palestine because, when you reread the actual words of the Mandate for Palestine, you were horrified to realise that indeed it never made any mention of the creation of a Jewish state or country. It never mentions the turning of Palestine into a Jewish state, but you will never be able to see that, HBendor. It never mentions a Jewish state at all. Nowhere. And Churchill made it abundantly clear in his White Paper of 1922 that nothing of the sort was intended.
