Could Jesus have been a half alien?

Many people known as "Ancient alien theorists", or "Interventionary Evolutionists" have have the idea that all of thje god myths, except maybe those such as the Greek myths which are obvious made up to explain natural forces, are misinterpreted encounters with aliens. Some even claim that these aliens created humans why splicing their own DNA into that of our closest ancestors, the Neanderthal. This idea is based primarily on the Sumarian legends of the Adamu, which translates directly into "First Man". The Adamu were the first humans created by "Gods" who came from the sky. They were created as a slave race in order to mine gold. There are gold mines which have been dated to around 150,000 years ago, long before humans ever started mining or using metal of any kind.

Now. one of these theories is that the "Nephlim" who are thought to be half angel-half human giants and strong men, are actually the offspring of the aliens and humans. The theory is that because we share their DNA, we can mate with them, and this is where the halfbreeds come from.

If this was true, could Jesus have been a Nephlem? Could he have literally been a half alien-half human hybrid? Could he have had contact with the aliens and be given technology and other things that other people would not have understood and would have thought to be magic or divine power?

... the premise is faulty, far reaching, and without evidense.

    The question truly is meaningless.

.... and? Just because different cultures have different legends does not make it true.

A two thousand years from now people may look back, find Harry Potter, and believe it must be true because the books were found all over the world.

I am not talking about a single book. I am talking about separate cultures building their temples the exact same way, telling stories that reflect the same thing, and having legends about the same gods with names that can be based on the same thing.

There is also thje fact that Sumerian artifacts have been found as far away as south america. Sumerians in as long as they have been studied, never had naval travel, but their artwork, pottery, and many other things have been found all over the world.

There are also legends of bigfoot and giant serpents, yet no evidence to support the existence of such.

Just because a bunch of people do something does not make it accurate.

I've never seen an alien, but I've been within a hundred feet of a UFO. And Enoch was supposedly taken up to heaven is one. Next time I get a chance, I'm gonna try to catch a ride. This marble is too crazy for me.

Human beings seem to be 'hard wired' to try to make sense of chaos. Look at a random pattern for a while and your brain will constantly attempt to make familiar patterns. I once knew an artist that could pick up a piece of wood and 'see' the form it would become with his sculpting. This is indeed a magnificent development in the human species. I believe that we are innately urged to envision things and ideas much greater than ourselves.

The why an how of our development is not yet known but, each and every one of us is surely part of a greater paradigm.

I look at the texture on the walls in my office and see faces.

    It isn't that special.

Seeing a pattern in a premade pobject and seeing a block of wood and envisioning how it would look if you carved it are two different things.

    Poor wording on my part.

    I wasn't comparing the two.

Not a chance. No space alien has ever been to Earth.

Logically, God must be an alien, since he can't be from the place he made. since he isn't from this planet, he's an alien. He has alien powers far beyond those of any human. Allegedly.

Since the biblical jesus was a myth, he can be whatever your imagination wants him to be.

Why not? Look at what history paints certain individuals throughout time. Just think about what the word Emperor does to the mind these days.... can you imagine how the Presidency will be viewed 500 years from now when it is long gone and forgotten? Truth of the matter is this, it doesn't matter what we think, all that matters is what you feel is right. If Jesus as half alien rocks it for you, more power to you!

Larry Flint feels that sex with chickens feels right. So glad you approve. But you're half right. It doesn't matter what we think, only the truth matters. The truth is, whether you believe it or not.

You have to understand that by jumping over the gap of evidence to ask:

    the question becomes pointless.

It's like asking if dragons existed could my lizard be their descendant?

Lets say this theory has merit.

    Ask yourself this question.

    How would we know?

You are in a religious forum. Those that actually believe in Jesus will obviously reject the idea outright. In fact if you actually provided some evidence they would most likely still reject it. Those of us here who do not believe in Jesus or any God do so for very specific reasons. One of those reasons is the lack of evidence. You approached an audience made up of two polar opposites and yet none of them believe the question to be worth their time.

But I can assure you that if are able to post something that you consider to be evidence of this theory something tangible that we can study for ourselves you will at least start a conversation. It may not be the conversation you want to have and our findings may not be what you want to hear but if what you present is at least interesting it will be a start. Which is far more than you can say about this thread now.

I have to disagree with the comparison. We do find cultures completely cut off from one another for hundreds or thousands of years that produce very similar stories about their Gods and even similarities in their architecture that goes beyond just the shape of it. Its the fact that they were separated from one another that makes it interesting at all.

We have the ability to travel the planet and people two thousand years from now finding Harry potter books would surely know this.

Now, how one connects aliens to this is another thing entirely.

How can you state this with such certainty?

There are no space aliens in our Solar System. Other solar systems are simply too far away. Besides, distant space aliens wouldn't have known that the Earth existed so there would have been no reason for them to come here even if they could (and they can't).

    http://www.sitchin.com/

If the movie is ever released (and completed) make sure you see 1 Anunnaki.
