And Kansas is not alone . . . The States are fighting back and Holder can go #^%# in a hat. Do the Feds really think they can waltz in and force people to see the Constitution through the tainted stain of liberal eyes?
Sorry but Kansas has no authority to arrest federal agents following the law. Doing so would constitute insurrection and require federal troops to occupy Kansas.
And yes the feds have every right to waltz into Kansas and enforce federal law. Sorry but America does not back Kansas.
Kansas does have the authority to arrest anyone violating Kansas law. That includes Obama's goon squad. Holder and Obama can go (*)(*)(*)(*) themselves.
Not if the Federal Law violates the big C they don't !! Obama has no special right to violate the Law. Kansas will not be the only state giving the Bronx salute to Obama and his criminal AG. - - - Updated - - - Constitution overrides all. Period.
Nice strawman. But I'm sorry to inform you the articles of confederation were a failure. No state has any authority to EVER nullify federal law. This was decided by the SCOTUS after the civil war in which the traitors LOST. Funny how you rant about the constitution and the 2nd amendment but call the 13th 14th and 17th amendments "unconstitutional" and spit on those. As usual the AG will file suit in FEDERAL court to have this law blocked and Kansas will have no choice but to obey or be arrested for inciting insurrection.
Send troops? Sweet. So the administration is willing to further distance itself from the US public. - - - Updated - - - Un, no. Call a lawyer if you dont believe me.
The public? The public supports the administration. The public stands against the red states overwhelmingly. - - - Updated - - - You're kidding right??
Montoya. The Articles of Confederation served the US in the 1780's. Pre-Constitution. They had nothing to do with the Civil War. And you are trying to lecture here about the Law ?
Don't be so sure. You might want to see the bitter clingers in kansas get theres but the other bitter clingers all over the country won't like it one bit
There have been so many laws nullified in the last five years it makes my head spin. Many of these laws quote the 10th amendment. We are seeing it with guns laws, drugs, health care, money, goods made and sold within the state are being exempt from federal laws. It is a growing movement. Will the fed move against all of these states? How could they? They simply don't have the power to force it. Holder talks, but he wears Obama mama pants when he tries to walk. Anyone have a pic of Obama riding that bike in his mama pants?
I got this. Girly man trying to throw. Lots of "Boo's" from the crowd too.
No, only if they fall under the enumerated powers. That's why you see just about every federal gun law/bill invoke the Commerce Clause. Example from Feinstein's recent "Assault Weapon Ban" bill: "It shall be unlawful for a person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer or possess, in or affecting interstate commerce, a semiautomatic assault weapon." In US v Lopez, SCOTUS stated that the Commerce Clause doesn't give Congress unlimited power.
If the people refuse to convict then the laws becomes worthless. And since so many people say that they don't agree with the laws why would they convict someone for violating them? The people trump the courts.
The sad thing is, it shows the weakness of the President that so many states are passing laws to embarass him. This would not have happened under any of Obama's predecessors, who were respected.
That's not the way it works. The Fed's will then step in and run things (martial law) until satisfied that the laws are being upheld. As I said earlier, no one is above the law. Its basically what happened during the reconstruction. The North ran things until they were satisfied that the laws were being upheld.
And if there is any justice and righteousness, the citizens of Kansas will kill some of the federal thugs.
I would think that most of the citizens of Kansas would not be so stupid to let their emotions get the best of them lest they end up on the autopsy table in the medical examiners office. Of course on the other hand, if some of the nut cases did open fire on Federal Agents, they'd only be adding fuel on the fire to ban weapons in this country. Either way they won't win. If they don't agree with the law, let them file a lawsuit like any other law abiding citizen in this country would do.
And along these lines, one wonders how the decriminalizing of marijuana in Colorado and Washington will play out.
