You can split hairs all you want... but what I see in that article, is very descriptive of the radical Tea-publicans (essentially the Republican Party of today).

The concepts show some of the exact same things people are seeing with their very own eyes.

Imagine the surprise when all the people on the lower end of the totem pole realize they still will be taxed... :)

    The "secession states"?
    http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/secession-petitions-now-filed-50-states-183500440.html
Seems every state is a secession state.

That's interesting because the anti-tax movement shifted from the Northeast to the South. Now the Secession states are pushing to reduce, or even end, taxation even though they benefit from it the most. Not only that, there is no way in heck that their new centralized confederate government won't tax the people. If nothing else, their new government would need funding for a military to protect them from "Northern aggression"... and concentration camps for liberal commies.

Yeah. And nobody wants to pay taxes. No surprise there.

OK, so you agree with the fact that people in every state have petitioned for secession. So what's with this "the 'secession' states are the poorest" crap? All 50 states can't be the poorest states. Perhaps you only want to acknowledge the petitions from the poorest states, the ones you think you could do without?

It's pretty godly up this way as well  Also, South Dakota and Texas are both on the all too short list of states with no state income tax. Texas needs to offer me that added benefit of being DC-free..

When I say 'secession' state, I mean states that have either attempted to seceded or those who share their ideology. Of course you'll find at least one person in every state who wants to secede. Of course, there will be a petition in every state for secession. But, a handful of people don't reflect the beliefs of an entire state.

Besides, I can't see Vermont or Maine seceding any time soon.

And it's possible that the money-corrupted and greed-mongering leadership of such a Secessionist Nation, would devise a plan to coerce or even FORCE many into poorly compensated or even unpaid servitude. Looking at what many staunch Conservatives and extremists in our current nation have 'rigged' into our economic system, that is a strong possibility.

Secessionist President says: Those of you are not FIT (economically/socially) to be free (privileged) men, should work to gain your status and freedom. (That is NOT far fetched, IMO.)

I thought we were all created equal? The only affront is taking what others work to earn by force and giving it to those you've decided to label as lower status.

I agree. That's why the tyrants had better not let it come to that. When people are fed up with them and want out of their system of domination and control, they had best let those people go.

I doubt they will actually take that course, though. Got to keep the slaves in line.

Tell that to the misguided (and even cruel) human beings who embraced (and still do in many cases), what Confederate symbology stands for or means to millions of Americans.

(In other words, I cannot take your commentary seriously.)

I am always amused when liberals gather around in their circle jerks and exchange Monica's.

Actually what LIBS refuse to accept is all are created equal before the law, but not in ability or social standing. Egalitarinanism is the antithesis of freedom.

In truth, many Conservatives talk-the-talk, but absolutely refuse to walk-the-walk.

It's only the Confederacy's enemies who were determined to make slavery an issue. In so doing, they helped keep the British from aiding the Confederates during the war. It was propaganda and politics at play.

That was low enough, but it's even lower to make such claims today.

Yeah. Just keep on fooling YOURSELF about all that immorality, hatred and inhumanity.

The CLEAR blessing is that the "South" got its butt kicked!

Most secessionists tend to be states' rights, down with the federal government types. I would assume they would simply try and run their states as independent nations. They would fall soon after, since most of them can barely stay affloat without federal loans. They only pro-secession state that gives more to the federal government than it takes is Texas, and it only has that money from it's oil reserves, which are already running low.

I didn't know it was physically possible to cram so much BS and projection into one post.

And of course the usual lapdog likes it.

What would a conservative nation look like? Look at the United States in the 1950s.
