I had to laugh at Putin's attempts at a counter offensive. His PR stunt of being photographed kissing a large cat, bare-chested, in a zoo enclosure was deliberately aimed at minimizing homophobic Russian state policy in the build up to the games. But having said that, I wouldn't be comfortable being gay in parts of the United States.

 

The best solution don't be a gay be a man as you are born to be.
