Actually, children raised by any couple excluded by law from marriage, made up of any two consenting adults would receive the same benefit. Sooooo where is the discrimination against gays? Show me any marriage statute that as much as even mentions sexual orientation.

So if a statute or an amendment says that "marriage shall be between a man and a woman" but does not mention sexual orientation it's not discrimination against gays?? Suppose the world was reversed...and there were laws saying you could ONLY get married to another man....but "it's not discriminatory if you are heterosexual....you still have the right to marry a man same as any homosexual citizen"?

Gay marriage. I do believe in tolerance and respect for people, even if i disagree with their lifestyle, but gays having a state sanctioned relationship equivalent to a marriage is really morally wrong.
