Jihad as conceptualized within its proper Islamic context and intifada which is its expression? Let's take that as understood. Given Israel's historical duplicity and lies, and the Wests complicity in regards to the said duplicity and lies allied to the use of the U.S veto, few rational observers would argue that they have few alternatives other than to adhere to their ultimately honourable and dignified position of Jihad. If the intention of the Israeli's is to wipe them incrementally from the map by stealth (which it is), they literally have nothing to lose. The Islamic concept of Jihad is not inconsistent with the aim of attaining Palestinian justice which is what they aspire to. How do they achieve justice? That's a question that needs to be directed towards their Israeli oppressors who over decades have illegally encroached on their land, ethnically cleansed them, deliberately targeted them with bombs and shells as a form of collective punishment as well as their maintaining of a belligerent occupation. As all rational and informed observers know, the firing of rockets into Israel was merely the pretext for Israel to continue on with it's illegalities and civilian targeted violence.

 

You assume intentions that you cannot demonstrate and use that imagined slight as justification for murder. You suggest discussion and dialog are not alternatives. You say a man who has his life has nothing to loose.

In an ideal world, discussion and dialogue would be the way forward. But over the decades, the U.S-supported Israeli's have proven to have not acted in good faith and have been duplicitous and dishonest throughout. The historical process of ethnic cleansing is not an assumed intention but actual intention that is supported by evidence, as for example, documented by Israeli professor, Ilan Pappe in his seminal work, 'The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.' They have nothing to lose because the only real choices they have are two-fold, do nothing and get wiped out, or attempt to fight back and go down fighting. It's the latter, as opposed to the former, that's the dignified and honourable approach to take.

Every rocket fired by Hamas in general direction of population centers is a war crime, every suicide attack, every kidnapping. Every rocket launcher in school yard, every weapons cache in mosque or command center in hospital is a war crime, crime against humanity and their own people.

That universally recognized terror gangs like Al Qaeda, Hamas, ISIS, Hezbollah are some man's freedom fighters speaks volumes about the mental condition of those who won't recognize fanaticism and terror if it bites them in the a$s.
