You're right, but it's many in her own tribe that will judge her harshly for this, and her value as a a political attraction has been blunted.
I think that the sort of people who like to blame black parents for raising thugs would have to be pretty big hypocrites to give Palin a pass for the behavior of her kids.
I doubt it makes much difference to what anyone else thinks about her.

Now compare that with a Dominican immigrant who was given the choice to live in a small village where the closest thing to a government is the occasional Cartel group that comes through and picks a few people to camel drugs through Mexico (The entirety of which is directly the cause of a failed American policy) or make the desperate journey to America to work for lower-than-minimum wages picking heavy fruit in the heat of the day EVERY DAY and receive meager welfare if at all possible.

I empathize with Bristol also. But, I know that if this was a prominent Democrat's daughter we would never hear the end of it. "Hands off the kids" would not apply.

Bristol Palin got PAID to do lectures on abstinence-only sex education....once after getting pregnant out-of-wedlock....but before the SECOND time she got pregnant out-of-wedlock.

I just cant pretend to be horrified by this. I am sure a few people are hoping like heck her child is stuck with a disease or a cleft palate or something. I mean you are seriously trying to hold Sarah Palin accountable for her adult daughters sexual actions and its really bizarre because most people understand that at age 18, the child is a legal adult, do you think the laws are different in Alaska?
