They're asking tough questions of everyone and surprisingly Trump is holding up well so far. I would like to see him smile more but he is no politician so I guess a practiced fake smile is out of the question. I really like Ben Carson. His laid back style and quiet intellect are powerful. Bush is his usual milk toast self. Rand Paul seems a little grumpy. Huckabee is doing well. The rest are just window dressing. I think the real winner here is Carson.
i thought the last part of this video time 3:15 about his tone, with trump saying were living in medieval like times now we dont have time for tone and we need to get the job done
They are tough questions. I have to say the candidates are doing amazing. I am stunned at how well they are coming off. This is a field of amazing candidates. - - - Updated - - - Always the way to pick a candidate, whereas Bill Clinton was actually creepy and she probably likes him?
That's not going to stop the progressives from trying to claim that they're throwing softball questions and trying to promote certain candidates while trying to bring down others.
No, she thinks Clinton's pretty creepy. And first impressions can hard to get over. She just laughed at the Harley comment, thought it was ridiculous. We both agree no more Bush.
Progressives predicted this would be a bloody fight with candidates ripping at each other, it turns out to be just the opposite. I do think Carly Fiorina should have been on the main stage. She was moving!
Ben Carson was pretty awesome. Cruz was solid as the come. Trump was Trump. He made some mistakes, but will likely be forgiven. (24 hours instead of days on Iran). One of my favorites Rand Paul took some damage.
Fox news is trying to scuttle Trump with that idiot Frank Luntz. Trump did not hit a homerun tonight but I don't think he struck out either. I have a feeling Trump is not going to slip much at this time. The obvious hit job on Trump by Fox could backfire.
I'm impressed that there are NO CREAMPUFF questions... - - - Updated - - - I agree. I thought that after a somewhat slow start, Carson ended with some knockout punches, and Cruz continues to show his intelligence and knowledge of the issues at hand. Rubio was also strong.
i don't think so the rosie o'donnell remark was hilarious
And the one about him being the only reason people are discussing illegal immigration, the guy is an idiot.
Nope, what I am saying is that he is not Presidential and is only an embarrassment for the GOP and the USA.
7 more republican debates from now and you will be eating your words, your way to quick draw minded, to think hes having a setback..
I thought Christie did well. Jeb did good and Carson was good in that regular guy way. Trump was loud and boorish and made himself look like an ass.
LOL, not likely, heck Trumpy will be lucky to even make through all those without self imploding. Find a candidate that is a acceptable alternative to Hillary and the GOP stands a chance, run a Tea Party boy or a nutjob and you do not stand a chance. Learn you lesson from past mistakes or get used to losing the Whitehouse.
Heard that in 2010 with the House and 2014 with the Senate. Regardless of who is the next President will have an (R) after his/her name.....That's inevitable. More than 1 Republican Candidate at tonight's debate said their first job would be to "undo" ALL of Obama's Executive Orders......get used to it.
Rubio did better than that. I agree with you on Trump - he's always been that way, though. He's the champion of those who are really POed about having a GOP congress and getting nothing for it. Carson came across way better as a person than I thought he could. But, he had to use the fact that he's a doctor as an excuse for not having answers or a clear message about America in his concluding comments. We're after a president - not someone who could have been president if he chose that instead of something else.
