I became an Atheist after being taught Evolutionary Theory in Grade 2. In 1972/'73, Televangelist Mr. Garner Ted Armstrong did a great job of disproving traditional Darwinian Evolutionary Theory and he got me interested in reading the Bible. Within a few years I had bought into the theory that a coming United States of Europe would fulfill the role of some sort of "beast of Revelation." Not much more than a year or two ago I began to question this theory........... and put another possibility in its place. Could we, the USA and Canada....... actually fulfill the role of this metaphorical "beast" and........ could we perhaps do so in a way that is actually quite ethical and win - win - win - win for pretty much the whole earth?????

Well, i am not sure about the planes, but the out of body experiences can be easily explained. if you were to connect to the everpresence, that could be done because each atom carries information. your soul is made of energy, as the nervous system carries all our information, yes? then, we can connect to other places along the atoms between atoms, as there is never any 'empty space.' there are always atoms there and here and stuff. the communication between things, like sounds for example, is carried in waves from one place to another along the atoms, so, it is possible to 'hear' things that are very far away.

interesting question - Garner Ted Armstrong was an angry evangelist who was always hell bent on attacking everyone and anything that dared to disagree with him - while he had much insight into the Bible (much of which he learned from his father) his attitude repelled a great many people
