Official poverty is whatever is declared a fixed Standard by our federal Congress for the Union, and our State legislators for our several States. I believe Labor, as the least wealthy in our Republic under our form of Capitalism, is being denied and disparaged in equal protection of the law. The right gives the impression that the poor are not worth the socialism of equal protection of the law regarding the concept of employment at will; that clears our poverty guidelines. In other words, Labor should be able to quit on an at-will basis in an at-will employment State and collect unemployment compensation simply for being unemployed on an at-will basis. How can any fiscally responsible Capitalist, fail to want a "two for one" deal? Simple poverty and a natural rate of unemployment.
Unemployment compensation exists to provide some assistance for those who become unemployed unexpectedly and for no cause of their own. Poverty, regardless of the source from which it is defined, is lacking the means by which ones basic needs are acquired. Is there any State which an employee is not allowed to quit their job at-will? If you quit your job and lack the means to support yourself that is self imposed poverty and self imposed unemployment, which you have assumed total responsibility for, and any fiscally responsible 'person(s)' should recognize as such.
Jesus, as an employer, you simply have no idea what you are talking about. If somebody quits they don't and shouldn't get unemployment. What is unfair, is that I can fire somebody for performance reasons, and they can still collect.
Hey boss I want to go on a paid vacation, I quit. What's really sad is that there are really Americans who think like danielpalos.
Don't believe in equal protection of the law? Why complain about our tax burden for our alleged, war poverty. We could be lowering our tax burden and faithfully execute our own laws at the same time. It merely and Only requires, a moral of goodwill toward men. - - - Updated - - - Why not, in any at-will employment State? It is not at the will of the employer State. It is at the will of either party.
Why claim you subscribe to morals if you don't believe in bearing True Witness to our own laws? - - - Updated - - - I know what every Thing means, better than you.
Longshot is right, at least in my case where an S-corp which are reported on personal taxes. If we had so much control we would not be paying taxes. And because we report on our personal taxes our spouses income is also included. I'll reiterate .... The more money taken in taxes, the less there is to spend on other things, including employees.
I don't know about you Poor Debater but I went into business to make money, not to keep pumping every penny back into the business, yes we risked it all and reinvested in the beginning but for now we keep it running. In fact my company has a lot of ability to grow but because of high taxes what's the incentive. Why would I risk my money, take on more responsibility and if successful the result is for government to take such a huge chunk. No thanks. You can wait for a poor man to hire you. So instead of risking my money (read, the possibility of losing), instead of hiring more people I chose to keep my money and stay status quo.
Parents can give you a life-vest just by the attitude they teach you. If they teach you anger, resentment, and entitlement, they've given you the ball and chain, if you believe them it's you who put the ball and chain around your neck. Most people who have wealth came from middle class families and most retain middle class values. I came from a lower middle class family. My life-vest was my parents instilling work ethic,d self reliance, teaching me how to handle money and to always plan for the future. Not once was I ever told that someone else owed me
Rich people think different than the poor and most middle class but it's not because they are rich that they think different. It's because how they think that they become rich. Google it. Example, A middle class person is trying to build his wealth, he either gets a 2nd job and/or a better paying job, and cuts expenses. But because of our progressive tax system the gov takes a higher % off the top portion (think of it as a pay cut) making it more difficult for the W2 worker who to build wealth. People who want high taxes must not plan on making better money or they wouldn't support it. A middle class person becomes angry and rants about the rich. A smart person learns basic tax code, consults his CPA, makes changes. The Poor: Spend every penny they get (survival mode), The Middle Class: As they become more successful they tend to go into debt to buy liabilities. They get caught in the rat race, The Rich: They invest, buy assets that pay for their liabilities
I believe your problem is you cannot afford to hire entire departments to help you fill out your "corporate" tax returns or have them help you filling out corporate welfare forms, in triplicate; like those Firms declared, too big to fail.
LOL, wow.. I'm too big to fail! In fact you are right. I'm just a small business and we little people don't get corporate welfare. But when you thought you were going after the big guy, you hurt small business instead. As Gruber said "the stupidity of the American voter". In response, instead of risking my money, growing the business, hiring more people, (paying for everyone's, both people and corporate welfare) I'm on cruise mode. Let some poor guy hire you or the big businesses who is slowly doing away with the competition set the pay rate.
How did small business get hurt by bailing out the wealthiest and their "poor lifestyle choices" with the Peoples Tax monies?
LOL, We are both living with the results. I see it from an experience and hands on point of view, you see it from a ideology point of view. You want something that you did not earn. You keep "thinking" and doing the same thing and "HOPE" your life "CHANGES" for the better. When you're an old man, I doubt things will have change for you.
Translation: information you don't want to hear. Keep waiting for government to legislate your prosperity. While your at it take a look at the lifestyle of the people who are totally dependent on the government.
How did small business get hurt by bailing out the wealthiest and their "poor lifestyle choices" with the Peoples Tax monies?
I already explained it to you but you don't want to understand it, you're already convinced and it isn't my job to pry your mind open. So stay in your world and lets just hope a poor man can hire "more" people. I do know I didn't get to where I am thinking like you do.
That the right wing is cognitively dissonant enough to complain about taxes while being willing to wage a common and global Offense with the Peoples' exorbitantly expensive superpower.
LOL, Are you trying to sound intelligent? As I said, I just went on cruise mode. Let the poor man hire you.
No; I am merely playing word games with you for around an hour or so. You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.--Plato
