Having spent some time on some really horrible political forums, you have no idea how happy I am to hear that.

I've noticed that this forum is quite fair. Some forums don't allow you to disagree with
their political indoctrination. This one does as long as you're respectful.

In many cases it's almost immediately.

    - - - Updated - - -

Then get it back on topic really fast.

If find the moderates point of issuing a warning fair. I didn't even object to the thread being closed when it started to be off topic, as many threads do. I often find myself trying to bring the discussion back to the title of the thread. Guess we all should try to stay on topic or start a new thread if you want to change the topic.

    Gimme my gun!!!

I do a few "politics forums" and some... in fact....are Abnormal Psychology Forums........I get the URGE to go...Whack -A-Mole.. and That's not really anything I NEED... and often the Forum....objects, is fussy or "double standard". I get IRATE in a shyt-flinging battle with a TRAITOR/Sociopath. I am QUITE able to bust their chops but when RUDE.......only applys to ME... Screw that. Some Aryan/Nazi Compulsve liar says his typical RANTS...and I get handcuffed? Whatever. I left a Forum where that was the game. I can go Debate on a "elegant' level. I can get NASTY. I want fair play. If Joe Nutcase can say total GARBAGE.. can verbally assault ME... I can take him down. When the deck is stacked, the game is rigged... that's NOT okay.

Here is a concern of mine.

I made a thread in the "Political Opinions and Beliefs" section last night. I looked this morning to see the thread was deleted, no warning or modifications I could see whatsoever. The thread was called "My PI Thoughts on the 2016 Election" or something like that. I know "PI" was in the title. I could see it having a "Watched" status, but not have the thread suddenly disappear altogether. If I could get an answer to this mystery, that would be great. I feel I did nothing wrong to have that thread removed, nor violated any of the rules.

I don't like when threads get jacked because of people hating on each other and some battle will fall over many threads and ruin them all. to solve this a good way I have seen is some forums create a "trash talk" section where you can make threads bashing other members and pretty much say anything you want

Linked into the system were the twenty five Royal Observer Corps (ROC) group controls, also with direct links to the carrier control points. In the event of subsequent radioactive fallout, local fallout warnings could be generated from the group controls on a very localised basis over the same carrier wave system.

I for one am from AMERICA, I prefer someone to be free to insult me and cuss me up one wall and down the other, because I treasure the First Amendment more than I treasure my pride, I treasure Freedom, even a detractor has a Right to dissent, and when you rule over others in that way, even on a Forum,,, you destroy the Freedom I and many others spilled our blood for and lost bits of our Anatomy in Countries while most slept safe in their beds.

Where were you on 9/11/01 ? I was at Ground Zero, at the WTC rescue effort......

Yeah, but after 20 or so responses/exchanges it becomes garbage and for anyone who clicks on the thread for the 1st time knows that it's basically now "garbage", then it makes it easier to move on to better threads. Or, start one's own thread on the topic..

You have First Amendment rights on this forum and so to the owners of this forum. They want to
keep the forum civil and have created reasonable rules that allow anyone to express their opinions.
Thankfully there is no violation of the First Amendment on this forum.
What has this got to do with anything?

Plenty, some people simply talk, others have actually done something, served Our Country, Defended Our Freedom.

Great. Big deal. Good for you. It doesn't change anything. We all have First Amendment
    rights on this forum.

This "In-Thread Warnings" thread is soon going to have its own in-thread warning.
