Technically, it's true. They are habitual "accessories after the fact." It's like a fraternity. It is not just 1% of police officers who are "bad apples," as is often claimed.

Just about everybody in this country is a criminal to some degree. So you aren't making any point. Also, the real point is that the negroes the cops killed WERE criminals. Case closed.
More Liberal Hog Wash, most Democrat Liberals believe Laws do not apply to them, skirt the Law and are convicted of crimes and prohibited from owning guns or a concealed carry license.
The OP has inherently flawed logic that has been defeated time and time again. Not sure why someone still could believe this. It's objectively false.
What is really alarming is that cops are there to calm things down and instead, you have these idiots walking up to cops and trying to hand them flowers or blowing bubbles to them or refusing to leave... JUST GO THE (*)(*)(*)(*) HOME AND THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM. I swear... and then people try to defend these protestors?
I'd like to see the source for this information. You're talking about around a quarter of the population being felons. I don't think the crime rate is nearly that high.
You do not present proof about all cops. You present some evidence about a cop. In reality, the case has yet to go to court and not all the facts are in.
Making a comparison of obeying basic laws to being under Nazi rule is an argument that defies intelligence ...
1% of cops are activiely corrupt. 89% of good cops would lie through their teeth to protect a corrupt cop from being held accountable for their crimes. For example, when Walter Scott was killed, there was a second cop on the scene who stood their and watched while Michael Stager planted the tazer on Scott's body. There are good cops who go after bad ones, but this is rare. Just like criminals, cops have a code that you don't "snitch" on each other. Cops are expected to protect each other even if that means lying to ensure corrupt cops are not found out. One of the most famous cops to go after his own was Richard M. Roberts, some of you may know him from the fact that he was played by Russel Crowe in American Gangster. He made it his personal goal to expose corrupt police officers and federal agents in his investigation of Frank Lucas. He received so many threats against his life from fellow officers that they considered putting him in witness protection.
I suspect it is a lot closer to 25-30% are actually bent, and 70-74.9% will not say anything. Some because they don't care...many because they-rightly-fear for tbeir lives if they do.
Most cops do the work because its a job, that pays well, can get out of High School with some added training and offers good benefits and they have families to take care of. They tend to want to avoid hassle and don't try to make waves while trying to do well enough for promotions. Some are very career focused and others are dirty as hell. But I know few cops and detectives who have their informants who might sell pot or do other things they let go for some information and hand them an avoid jail card of sorts especially in narcotics and vice crimes. But is it bad or part of the job so they can go after even worse offenders like people selling heroine or tips to get rid of child sex peddlers so a necessary evil? I would say these are necessary evils not making the cops and detectives bad.
The main issue with police is that law enforcement tends to have the same fraternity mentality which criminals have. Don't snitch, don't interfere with other cops. Even cops who are generally good will often look the other way and lie through their teeth to protect the bad ones, and the ones who would be willing to turn in the bad ones often stay quiet because snitching out other cops often is met with retaliation.
"COPS ARE BAD" -said every piece of S___criminal and two-bit thug upset because they have been caught.
My problem is that there's people who have never been through the police academy, telling police about how they think. Cops pull other cops over all the time for speeding. Cops snitch to IA all the time. Cops to go the LT for problems all the time.
