Americans looking for change from corrupt politicians have hitched their wagon to the wrong horse in Trump. He is as unscrupulous a participant in the political game as anyone he rails against. He has repeatedly 'paid to play' with donations intended to benefit his business and has been previously found in violation of campaign donation laws.
Corruption generally is a term reserved for people in positions of power. Trump was not in a position of power. If you think the AG was swayed by the donation, than she would be the one who was corrupt.
Corruption, especially bribery, isn't limited to government officials. A private individual giving an elected official a bribe is equally corrupt.
This was a donation that his bean counter attributed to the wrong organization. It wasn't just a "similarly named" organization. The only difference between the names was a "the". It would be like having two organizations--one named "The American Red Cross" and one named "American Red Cross". It isn't like she appointed an unqualified person to a national security board because he made a large donation to her like Hillary did.
Looks like ANOTHER warmed over 'Trump hate" thread...getting to the point of obsessive-compulsive maybe even a tic
....Still, that doesn't dismiss the issue. Corruption is corruption, and this only lends credence to the suggestion that "the outsider" is using a set of rules the general public isn't afforded. Isn't that one of the core issues that drive the Trump voter?
Trump and Clinton deserve each other. This nation deserves neither. That is outside of Republicans who gave us Trump deserves a Hillary Clinton Presidency and outside of Democrats who gave us Hillary Clinton deserve a Donald Trump presidency. The other 60% of Americans, give or take, deserve neither. That is unless one votes for either Clinton or Trump, then you deserve whichever one wins. Corrupt, egotist, mud slinging idiot liars have our two major parties nominated. That proves neither party gives a damn about this country, just their political party.
Why do you assume such? Why do you keep diverting to Hillary, as if this finding has no merit? You keep suggesting her actions outweigh his on the scandal scale, but perhaps that's only because he's never been at the level she's reached politically. As a civilian, he's displaying the sort of corruption that his backers dislike when it occurs in Washington, and we're to believe that it'll just cease once he enters that realm? Shouldn't that concern people?
Trump was bribing Pam Bondi to drop the charges against Trump University.... http://www.redstate.com/saragonzale...ruption-story-just-got-worse-pam-bondi-trump/ But I'm sure our local Trumpsters will tell us that article (based on facts) is "Trump hate".... or that "Ignore that...look at Hillary! PLEASE, ignore that and look at Hillary! PLEASE!!!!!!"
I thought that when it came to Hillary and the truth in media reporting, Trump was always the new "shiny thing" to deflect....
I think your comments mirror what most Americans feel. What is the solution - an independent or someone specific who's not running? Would Bernie have been a better choice for the Democrats? Who for the Republicans?
