Arab and Muslim Americans appear scared after Trump's election. Do you think this fear is justified? Below is a link to a story on this issue. http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/a...ight-rights-under-trump-presidency-1862891008
It is good for them to be scared, I lost too many dear friends and comrades in Arms to really care whether or not they are scared, let them slink back to wherever rock they crawled out from under in order to infest Our Great Nation.
We're talking about US citizens here. You're line of thought is pure garbage and completely un-American. You should be ashamed but I know you won't be.
Wow talk about a hasty generalization, one can assume by your comment that everyone who voted Trump is a racist, sexist sexual predictor.
Hitler invented a problem, scapegoated a group for it, and fooled enough frightened citizens to ascend into power. Trump did the same thing when he manipulated your fear.
All unfounded crap hyped by the Left and fanned by the media..where has he threatened Blacks?! Or Muslim Americans?
Terrorists can sneak into the country as refugees! We need to give Muslims ID tags and monitor mosques! We need to deport millions of illegals because MURDER AND RAPE AND JOB LOSS! We need to prevent more Muslims from entering America because TERRORISM! - - - Updated - - - He does it with a grin and a wink. And a lot of civil rights progress these last few years has been made by Executive Order. Trump can easily overturn it and many people are afraid.
I think ISIS now has something to actually fear. But now there is a chance for American women and girls who are now under the boot and fist of Conservative Islam to speak out against Sharia Law without a Pro-Islamic President to ignore them. For terrorists and other illegal Muslims here---good riddance. I am overjoyed at your coming eviction.
Sorry sweetheart that wasn't Trump that invented that. It's really the political climate today that did.
I'm a man. If a man calls me "sweetheart," I assume he's flirting with me. And if you had assumed I'm a woman, it shows your patronizing attitude towards woman. No wonder you're a Trump supporter. However, I suspect your use of "sweetheart" was intended as a passive aggressive insult. This, however, is also problematic in that it assumes that being mistaken for a woman is somehow an insult.
Probably Trump will not ban Muslim immigration entirely but their visa applications would be further delayed, thus discouraging them form applying for US visas. Trump could ban immigrants from certain countries such as Sudan on national security grounds, where terrorist activities are rife. Recent terrorist acts in the US were committed by second generation immigrants from Afghanistan but Lebanon is generally regarded as a safe Muslim country. I think hate crimes against Muslim Americans will decrease once terrorists are prevented from getting in and hate preachers are deported.
Tone down your ego there sweetheart. I'm saying it derisively. I assumed you were male but it was intended to be patronizing. Never was a Trump supporter, just anti Clinton. I think it's hilarious that he won and all the people that were against him are losing their minds. So you think only women can be called sweetheart as a passive aggressive insult? How sexist and misogynistic of you.
I'm actually fine with ordinary Muslims, and have lived amongst same on and off over a good portion of my adult life. I see more clearly than most that most Muslims don't like violence or unrest, and have no interest whatsoever in converting you. YET, with that insight comes another ... the fact that they will not act against their fellow, more radical believers. Put it down to the same fears we have (safety), but either way, they will not stand with America if the poop hits the fan, they will stand with their god. Sadly, I also know a good number who openly despise their western host nations, and can't wait for them to be subjugated. And these are not the terrorists, they are the ostensibly quiet and law abiding people. The problem, as with any deeply religious peoples, is that if made to choose between the law of the land and their faith, they will always choose their faith. That is not a mindset or a culture which can ever work in a democracy. These Snowflakes who think it can are dangerously naïve.
So you totally lack reading comprehension. My point is that you did say "sweetheart" in a patronizing way and that it's sexist of you to assume it's an insult. - - - Updated - - - No, but he's planning on discriminating against Americans who adhere to a specific religion.
We don't need any more Muslims. We don't need to go down the same path followed by the U.K. and France. We have already seen what a few Muslims can do here.
You didn't listen to what I said. I assumed you were male. The word "sweetheart" has no connotation of sex unless you apply it and you are attempting to making you sexist. Well he isn't going to get very far doing so would be a violation of the constitution.
How scared do Muslim Americans have to feel before they decide move to another country? I'm sure the Saudis or Pakistan or Iran would be accepting American Muslims seeking asylum. What's keeping them here?
For years they remained silent over all the atrocities occurring in their name, that silence told everyone what side they were on. Kick them all out.
