Yeah same here... The last Super Bowl I watched was when the Saints beat the Colts. Hell I didn't even catch any college bowl games this year. That's a first since 2002. Oh, and I watched Peyton Manning destroy that racist crybaby Cam Newton for the simple reason that Cam said people only cheered against him because he's black. That made me cheer against him when he said that.

I can't waste time watching overpaid political activists play with each other. They are repulsive.

You know this might sound crazy but I actually respect ABC for doing this. Not because I agree with it but because these execs knew that doing this during an NFL game would upset a lot of people. Upset people means less viewership, less viewership equals less money.

They believe in their message so strongly that they are willing to risk taking a hit to their income in order to show this. In a world where money rules everything, it is admirable in my eyes for huge company like ABC to put money second to personal beliefs. Not too many people do that in the corporate world, most people would sell their souls to make a dollar, especially huge corporations like that.

I think it's stupid they did that and I don't agree with it at all. But the fact that they approved this knowing full well what the outcome would be is admirable in my book. I respect people who fight for what they believe in, even if I don't agree with it. Especially when money is involved. This isn't like celebrities who hate on Trump knowing they are preaching to the choir because most of their fan base also dislikes Trump. This is a corporation choosing to do this during an NFL game where they know a huge chunk of the audience are Conservatives who are not going to be happy about it and will likely hurt their pockets.

Not the smartest decision, I'm sure their shareholders are probably livid. But a respectable decision nonetheless in my book.

I agree I never said it was the only reason. My point is they dont need to add this one on top of all those

Does the NFL have any control over what commercials are shown during games?

How is that 'racist'? He's referring to a particular behaviour (which he believes is common to a particular culture). It has nothing at all to do with appearance or skin colour. The only connection you can find to colour is his use of the word 'black' as an easy identifier of the cultural group. What you're really accusing him of is 'culturism'.

None of these whiny titbags had a problem with Trump until he decided to become a Republican. Suddenly he was a racist misogynist phobia filled ism and ist, accompanied by bigot.

Well, I'm a Trumpite. So I watched it again, all narrow eyed and sideways, looking for anything offensive. And it was still funny.

Haha yes, if he hated women he wouldn't have had them on his show and donated truckloads of cash to their charities out of his own pocket!
And if he wanted to sweet-talk his way into bed with some of them such as Miss Universe he certainly wouldn't have fired her..:)

BTW he's not homophobic as he has gays on his show too, what a great President you've got..:)

This is all running on the same dumbass logic that people can't be racist if they have a black friend.

Yah, well guess what? That's simply your opinion.

The town I grew up in? Not a single black person then OR NOW. Its like 7up and caffeine: never had it, never will.

I was going to let this go but my curiosity wants me to ask. Do you really not understand that my comment on that picture was just a joke? The picture itself was probably meant as a joke by the person who posted it and I countered with my own joke in return. We were being funny.

Now you're turning two jokes about a silly picture into a serious discussion.

Okay, I'll be serious. No, I did not investigate the man in the picture to see what country he was from or his political persuasion. The only thing I know about him is he buys his shirts too small, he likes peanuts and he likes women's tennis.

    - - - Updated - - -

Oh wait! Is he someone you know personally? If so then I owe you an apology for poking fun at your friend.

LOL my bad. Wait and see how many folks watch football this weekend. The only folks who are butt hurt are the haters who hated the jocks when they were nerds in High School.

Just showing how conservatives are actually projecting their own faults on others. If you look up hypocrite in the dictionary, it should say, "American conservatives" as the definition.
