Actually Donald Trump didn't even win that.

The Electoral College was created to eliminate the influence of both ignorance and special interest groups (e.g. political parties, money, etc.) and would have prevented anyone like Donald Trump (and arguably Hillary Clinton) from ever being the President of the United States. Please read Federalist #68 that provide an explanation of how the Electoral College was designed to work. http://www.constitution.org/fed/federa68.htm

The Electoral College was then corrupted by the White Protestant Male Supremacists and slave owners that controlled our government at the federal and state levels that opposed the Ideology of the Founders of the United States.

The members of the State's Electoral College members being selected by the Political Party based upon the Popular Vote and required to vote for the Party's candidate is what the Electoral College was designed to prevent.

We need to return to the original design for the Electoral College where the members are selected in advance and cannot be influenced by outside forces, including the popular vote, and where they're free to selected the most qualified candidate to be president.

The Electoral College, by analogy, should function like the Board of Directors (not the stockholders) of a corporation that independently selects the most qualified person to be the CEO of the company,

Oh no, don't get me wrong, I'm fed up with them, too; they haven't been acting like this since election night, they've been doing this since the DNC. That swine Bernie Sanders hyped up his followers and made them act like 3 year olds, and then at the very end told them to stop. Did they stop? Hell no! But you have to remember, that crowd is actually just a bunch of angsty teenagers and whining hippies that didn't get their way. I do fear for Trump actually, it's surely possible that he can be assassinated. I blame them for this, they are not absolved of responsibility for their actions.

I'm just saying that you can't blame the Democrats for Muslim terror attacks, you blame them for the attacks that they actively make on the US, as in, whining over a completely fair election.

So you want to treat them like immigrants? This is the problem we have. The Right is not wrong in their fear of refugees and their infiltration, but of course, as usual, they take it too far. The Left is not wrong in their desire to help these people out, but we can't just let people in as immigrants. Call it a white-collar prison if you want, but the perfect solution is to put refugees in well-cared for refugee camps. We obviously can't just throw them tents and say, welcome to the US, nor can we give them visas and say, sightsee New York, the best place to bomb is the Freedom Tower. If they are refugees, they must be treated like refugees. Sure, they may never be able to return to their country of origin, but a well-cared for refugee camp in the US is 10x better than Syria.

Yes, American racists are a problem. Separation from that problem makes the racists happy and keeps the refugees safe, no? In Europe, they are separated, sure, but they are just given crappy land in the middle of nuclear power plant France on the outskirts of Lyon with a tent and some stuck up Euro-trash French Guy saying vivre la revolution; their separation is marginalized. I don't advocate that, I advocate a nice place to stay, a cheap hotel if you will, with everything provided for the refugees. And if they want, they can be offered certain unskilled labor jobs at minimum wage to make some money and add to the American economy. I think that this is a lot better than what we are doing now, and what Europe is doing to the Muslims.

The problem is the intentional misuse of the word "terrorist" in the analysis.

A "terrorist" is a person that commits and act of terrorism or that conspires to commit an act of terrorism.

It is not a person that is simply convicted of "terrorism related charges" such as donating to an organization that may in turn nefariously transfer some of those funds to an organization that has been labeled by a government as a "terrorist" organization.

For example Waad Ramadan Alwan and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, the two Iraqis in the "Bowling Green Massacre" were not terrorists, they not convicted as terrorists, and at no time did they represent a threat of terrorism against the United States. They were convicted of "conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization" (al Qaeda in Iraq) that is not threat to the United States of America.

US District Judge James Robart, a conservative justice appointed by former Republican President George W Bush, was absolutely correct. Not a single person from any of the seven countries listed on the Trump executive order has ever been convicted of being a terrorists (a person that commits or conspires to commit an act of terrorism) in the United States. There's been no threat to the security of the United States by any person born in any of the seven countries. Additionally, over the last forty years not a single terrorist attack has been committed by anyone that sought and after our extensive vetting process for political refugees was granted political refugee status in the United States.

The terrorist threat to the United States is the Domestic Terrorist Threat that's created by anti-Muslim prejudice and discrimination that marginalizes Muslims growing up in the United States. It isn't even a Muslim threat because the terrorist threat isn't based upon the religion.

    https://behavioralpolicy.org/articl...-radicalization-risk-among-muslim-immigrants/

    This is what I support:

    http://www.americassurvivalguide.com/americas-first-principles.php

    As embodied in this:

    http://constitution.findlaw.com/

Based upon the First Principles and the US Constitution all of the permanent residents (i.e. "the governed" / "People") would have the Right to Vote in US elections regardless of citizenship. Our prohibitions against non-citizens voting is based upon racism and religious intolerance.

Based upon the First Principles and the US Constitution there would be no laws restricting immigration to the United States and our prohibitions against immigration are based upon racism and religious intolerance.

I also support the "rule of law" and I'm pleased to see the nefarious "Muslim Ban" of the Trump administration being challenged in the Federal Courts.

With others I'm also supporting the efforts to counteract the "Mass Mexican Deportation" plans by the Trump administration by creating defense funds for those apprehended by ICE so that they will have full legal representation in their immigration hearings. We're going to shut-down the already over-burdened immigration courts with motions and challenges by attorneys defending those that are being discriminated against with our racist immigration laws that violate the "First Principle of Limited Government" because the US Constitution does not grant any enumerated authority to the US Congress to control immigration.

We're going to "See the Racists in Court" and we're going to win.

A prison with silk sheets and gold toilet paper holders is still a prison. When a person is denied liberty and freedom they're in prison and how you wrap it doesn't change the fact it's a prison. This is the similar to the lie that the National Organization for Marriage tried to propagate with their "Marriage Pledge" where the preamble stated that the black child born as a slave was better off than a black child born free to a mother in many of our black communities.

Yes, while under-going the extensive refugee vetting process, that takes about two years and has prevented any terrorist attacks by political refugees for at least the last 40 years, the refugees should be relocated to a "white collar" refugee camp and not displaced into a tent city of oppression. They need to be provided with a glimpse of the future of being an American and we could certainly do far more in providing them with their first learning experiences of what makes the United States ideologically superior to any other nation (that the white supremacists have always fought against).

Let me provide a couple of quotations that every American should know and understand.

It is our responsibility as Americans to welcome and embrace the political refugee fleeing from the tyranny and oppression in their native land and to communicate to every single one of them our ideology of equality, liberty, and freedom. They come to us in desperation with the hope that somewhere they can find exactly what the United States stands for ideologically.

Somewhere between about 1725 and 1750 my ancestors on my mother's side fled the persecution of the Quakers in England that continued even after it was formerly outlawed in the late 17th Century. They came to America to find religious freedom and personal liberty and in 1776 they supported the American Revolution.

As a descendent of those once oppressed in their native land I have a personal obligation to offer that same religious freedom and personal liberty to those that flee from similar oppression.

My wife's grandparents were Eastern European Jews that fled the oppression of the Jews after WW I coming to the United States in the early 1930's seeking religious freedom and personal liberty.

As a descendent of those once oppressed in their native land she has a personal obligation to offer that same religious freedom and personal liberty to those that flee from similar oppression.

It is true that not everyone family immigrated to the United States to escape oppression in their native country. Many actually came here for the "White Privilege" and "White Male Supremacy" inherent in our social, economic, and political institutions that's existed since before the United States even became a nation. They didn't come here to embrace the ideology that America was founded upon but instead to fight against it. Today they've become relatively self-evident because Donald Trump, at the advice of his chief advisor, Steve "Turn on the Hate" Bannon, pandering to the Alt-Right (White Supremacist/White Nationalist/Neo-Nazi/Anti-Muslim/Anti-Mexican/KKK) to become elected.

We're currently involved in a non-violent civil war where those of us that support the ideology the United States was founded upon are waging a legal battle against the racist and religiously intolerant agenda of the Trump administration. We will use the laws and the US Constitution at every opportunity to stop or block Trump's promises of racism and religious intolerance that he made to his supporters. We can't stop it all but we can stop much of it and we're fully committed to that task.

A true Christian would say that no one can judge whether another is a true Christian because you don't know what's in his heart.

Now - show me evidence that Osama bin Laden was actually a Muslim.

And an immigration restriction imposed by Congress to exclude "Non-WASP's" from immigrating to the United States when the Constitution doesn't grant any enumerated authority to Congress to regulate immigration and that violates the "equal protection clause" is still a racist unconstitutional law.

Anyone claiming that our immigration laws are not based upon racism needs to remember that our first federal immigration restriction was the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 that was unquestionably a racist law.

    http://www.history.com/topics/chinese-exclusion-act

Our current immigration restrictions are based upon the identical racism that was the motivation for the Chinese Exclusion Act and not surprisingly are using some of the very same arguments.

And such immigration restrictions are wholesome and beneficial to the nation. And, unfortunately for your position, the Supreme Court has often ruled that Congress does have the authority to regulate immigration.

So, you wish to take the actions of someone mentally disturbed, & claim it was the ideology that drove him? Can you show where in christian theology that kind of action is sanctioned? Islam is easy. The Koran is full of commands to kill the infidels, or other peaceful actions. Can you find anywhere in Jesus' words where this kind of violence is commanded?

That is the flaw in your correlation. Wackos & crazies can always twist their minds & find justification for their evil deeds. But that is not seen in the ideology. UNLESS you can show the ROOT of the actions SPRINGS from the ideology, all you have is lone wolf wackos, or rogue killers, acting from their own beliefs & imaginings.

Christianity does not provide the impetus for this kind of behavior. It speaks AGAINST it, if anything. Now, Islam & Marxism readily advocate using violence to achieve their goals. IMO, that is one of the reasons they are simpatico with each other.

And seriously, the ad hominem is out of line. If there is anyone who does not seem to grasp the basic concepts here, it would be you. So the insults are very inappropriate, & do more to demean you than anyone else.

It's simple enough, Jesus said people are like trees and if their fruit is rotten, it means they're rotten.
Adolf certainly wasn't all sweetness and light..:)
As for Bin Laden being a muslim, he certainly fitted the bill..;)

No I am claiming that there some are people on both sides of the political spectrum that are mentally damaged and go to extremes. Very funny, perhaps the countries in the Middle East will pay for their own.

Are you seriously claiming there is no violence in the Bible that can be twisted by fanatics?

Such a claim would in fact be stupid or ignorant.

No problem with 20000 murders and 100000 rapes /year here? Worried about the 70 killed by white and brown terrorists in the last ten years? Man you are the very definition of a pantywaist. Glad you were not in the uk in the Irish killings. Might be useful if you knew the definition of liberal. But them I'm assuming you never took Latin in college (or even went?)

When these Christian fanatics do their crazy or violent things, they are criticized and condemned by influential, respected Christian leaders. When the Islamic counterpart does the same, he is praised by Islamic leaders.
