DON LEMON WALKED OFF: "Don't Come To This Network Again" To A Guest

When a story is crafted to bring the reader to a deception, it is fake news. My example was not real, but if it were, the headline was a fact, and was fake news. Those readers who did not go on to read the details (which is most of them), have their opinion skewed by the headline alone. The article might have gone on to present an honest depiction of what really happened presenting all sides, and it might have gone into a completely factual but topically deceptive diatribe about how dogs are members of the family.. all depending on the bias of the writer.

It's not facts that anger me, it's seeing only those facts that make one side look good, and the other look bad, being presented as if those are a complete unbiased picture.

Apples are sweet, nutritious, and delicious. Oranges promote tooth decay and diabetes. These are the facts.

 

They will be bankrupt and sold off in two or three years. When they caved to those La Raza racists and fired the key player of CNN's original start up and responsible for its early success they opened themselves to extortion and forever having to pander to vermin. It was hilarious when they ended up having to fire their PC replacement for Dobbs that Sanchez moron. Forget CNN. EvenTMZ has far better record of factual reporting and editorial management than those pathetic frauds at CNN, and its a tabloid for airheads.And they aren't the only ones who will either be gone or heavily 'reformatted'.

You are debating a couple members - one who posted over a thousand messages that polls show Clinton will win - regardless of the thread topic - and the other made a bet on the forum that Jeb Bush will be the Republican nominee or he'd leave the forum. Of course he didn't leave and both are still posting the same worthless messages and starting lots of relatively worthless threads.

Lesson? Don't take anyone posting on the forum seriously or you will fall for infractions baiting. If you do not emotionally involve figuring nearly everyone here is a fake and troll - except me of course - you might find the forum enjoyable and even a good source of information. Just don't take anyone seriously as a lot really are trolling just to be annoying and attention whores.

 

I have consistently maintained in this forum that all of the media outlets regardless of ownership are biased in one way or another and I still stand by that.

Except, some (like CNN. MSNBC, NYT, etc..) are biased on favor of Truth and Reality.

Any news story is going to solicit a reaction in the reader. Soliciting a reaction purposely or not does not make a story "fake news."

For example, a fake news story regarding the US "interfering" in French elections was referenced here. The story correctly links to a WIKILEAKS release but FALSELY claims that the WIKILEAKS release speaks of the US interfering in the elections and claims that this "interference" is proof of hypocrisy over Russian interference in US elections.

Of course, what the WIKILEAKS release actually showed was the US gathering intelligence on current and potential leaders' positions on critical issues leading up to the election. Something any competent intelligence agency would be expected to undertake. The lies were designed to gin up your outrage against Obama and anyone criticizing TrumpCo's abundant links to Russia.

That is fake news.

Reporting that there was not a terrorist attack in Sweden Friday night, DESPITE TrumpCo's claims is not fake news.

 

Merely having a bias is to be expected. Blatant outright lying, promoting sedition, encouraging street violence and witchhunts against innocent people while promoting violent criminal thugs as 'martyrs', and deliberate misrepresentations of what a man said, even just seconds after he sad it, etc., etc.,are a whole other issue.

In my opinion the blame does not solely rest upon the msm alone but also a great deal of it applies to the internet where hundreds of blog & websites are just as guilty as the msm of spreading their agenda and It will only grow over time. The days of having credible news organizations report the news as we might remember from our youth are a thing of the past unfortunately.
