To what degree could aliens prevent nuclear war?

Exactly....... we religious people accurate believe in the existence of the fallen Watchers, the sons of G-d who fell because of the daughters of men..... but we often forget that many Watchers..... did not fall............... and we miss evidence that other Watchers may fully and completely repent and have an astonishingly positive effect on future world events.

Daniel 4:17

I believe that this would be un-fallen Watchers being referred to here.

In a nutshell I have came to strongly suspect that Azazel is the fallen angel who will be somewhat like General Abner who brought the ten tribes over to King David or to Rav Shaul/Paul who repented of persecuting Christians and followers of God.

I suspect that when the fallen angel Azazel returns to the God of Abraham with his whole heart...when Yom Kippur is completely fulfilled....then a major step will have been taken toward the ushering in of a truly new era of worldwide peace where even the eating habits of wild animals like lions will be altered!

There are a number of incidents where UFOs are alleged to have interfered with nuclear weapons or missiles in some fashion. These reports originate from the officers who were present at the time. Many are still alive and telling their stories. In most cases, the official reports were only declassified because the military people involved knew it existed and requested a report under the freedom of information act. In the case of Malmstrom, no logical explanation was ever found for a dozen or so independent nuclear missile systems going offline sequentially, when a UFO was reported by the security personnel. The original engineering report from Boeing can still be found online. Quite a head scratcher! These systems are completely independent by design and they are spread out over miles.

 

Personally.... I like the theory that this particular UFO may have been involved
in preventing the Islamic Waqf from attempting to set off some sort of experiment
on the Temple Mount that would have required a great deal of electricity.

It is logical that our technology, although impressive,
would not be the most advanced in the universe and Multiverse.

 

If they exist and they can get here, their technology is superior to ours. How superior is another question. Based on the time scales involved when it comes to things astronomical, an alien race might be a million years more advanced than we are, or even more! In the extreme, races might exist that are over a billion years older than us.

But then maybe we can already see the limits of technology and no race is going to be fantastically more advanced, simply because there is a limit to technology.

 

More likely it was just the Zorgans again. Dregs of the Universe that race is constantly cruising planets trying to pick ip Tolanians that pop in everywhere from dimension 16 uninvited. Fortunately most places they appear in cannot se their form unless they have ultraviolet vision capability. Everytime you see Butterflies scatter it is usually a damn Tol doing the yazzza dance.

 

PS. Based strictly on the physics involved, and logic, based on what we know, if we assume that some UFOs are crafts guided by intelligent beings, it is more likely that they are distant humans travelling backwards in time, than aliens traversing the galaxy at superluminal speeds. Time travel and exceeding the speed of light get into the same problems and are related. But space travel has so many other problems beyond the essential physics, that time travel is the simpler solution.

If you dig into the identity of the author of the Phili Experiment story, it turns out he was a total nobody. He was just a loser who wrote a book [I think he originally faked a manuscript] and got lucky with a conspiracy theory that caught on. He had no way to have any privileged information or to have been present when the test allegedly took place.

And I'll head you off at the pass: Bob Lazar never attended Cal Tech. Stan Friedman completely debunked Lazar's claimed history.

 

We did do invisibility testing on ships back then. This is often referenced in the fringe claims. And it's true!



By breaking up the shape of the ship, ideally it becomes invisible on the horizon and at a distance. It is a game of tricking the brain into not seeing a recognizable shape.

Sorry, but it is ridiculous to think another more advanced group of aliens from another planet visited here within the last 5,000 years.

For one thing, the nearest planet that could sustain life is 40 light years away.

Spacecraft can't travel at the speed of light, and if they did, they'd have to be made of steel one mile thick because even if a tiny speck hit a ship going at that speed, it would be like a nuclear bomb going off.

Once one gets going at light speed, then it takes about 125 years to slow down.

Also going over half the speed of light would create lethal radiation from hydrogen. So any life form would be dead.

 

I personally have serious doubts about aliens visiting earth from
other planets using primitive space flight methods anything like what we have so far........

Well for openers, it looks like you are still struggling at your point in life with Theism, Deism, Agnosticism, and Atheism.

In Modern Philosophy the interpretation of God is that He/She/It is not concerned with human events. This gives rise to Deism. In other words God is a clockmaker who has made the clock and has left it to run on its own without further interference.

Theism of whatever flavor you prefer (Judaism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Confucianism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Shinto, etc.) take more involved views of things such as in the case of almost-Deist Buddhism a form of Karma, and at the other extreme in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam an all seeing ever present God.

If you want to relegate these godly powers to a distant space alien race, noting however that we have absolutely no scientific basis for such an idea, then you must assume that they are watching us as well. That borders then on blind faith just like Theism.

Life is much less complicated for the Deists, Agnostics, and Atheists however.

But back to your original question --

Nope.

I believe we are on our own.

I also believe that whatever we do to ourselves and to the Earth, the Earth will survive, as will mankind, and the animals, and the various plants.
