Europe would be exactly at same position as it is now. Its a continental plate you know?

The rest of your blubbering makes no sense. Germany dominates europe since 1900 years. And you bring up decades?

That is if baltic and scandinavian countries will not interfere and sabotage them "for safety".

It's too expensive now anyway. The Saudi's wiped their shale revolution out by dropping the prices.

The problem with Germany refusing to buy American, is that Americans won't keep buying from you unless you reciprocate.
If you don't take something in return, actually, you are just giving it away.

Germany controls pretty much the EU, and make Greece pay their debts. Maybe ask them how they feel about it. As for Israel: I think we both know who gives billions upon billions in aid to that country.

It's not that hard to change from microsoft to linux and open source programs. And if they pick that one, it's not just Germany... but the entire EU market as well.

I think Germany placed the tools on the table, last week when Lufthansa said it might cancel its Boeing 777X order. That small comment was enough that the boeing stock lost dramatic in value.

It is quite possible .... Although I hardly believe that this can happen with Merkel.

    sobo;

Boeing stock dropped on a rumor that Lufthansa might "might cancel" an 777 order. Sounds like a publicity stunt. I think I will buy Boeing stock cheap and make a quick turn around.

    Thanks

Merkel is the winner of next election. If you like it or not. She somehow managed to switch from left politics to right politics. So she will rule another 4 years.

Beside that Merkel is flexible enough to make deals with anyone. She cut Lukaschenko out of the sanction list so he builds camps for refugees in Belarusia.

Whats the conflict? Germany wants all of Ukraine in its sphere. Russia wants keep Ukraine in its sphere.

Thats the maximum goal for each side. The maximum is not reachable. Russia lost western Ukraine. They hate you. On the other sid you got Crimea which you need and create trouble in eastern Ukraine which is russian affine.

The compromise is on the hand. Ukraine is an artificial country. The east was russia. The western part always part of austria hungary and german influenced.

I always said that the first victim of crazy globalists is a simple American people. Also, I always said that we, Americans, Russians, Germans, British ... and others nations, have a common enemy - these are crazy globalists. They force nations to hate and kill each other. In order to transnational corporations to get a new billion.

Boeing develops the 777X on demand of Lufthansa. Losing a 32 billion € contract is a massive strike. So of course it has an effect.

This is true. Just do not forget about the Rusyns in western Ukraine. And death camps for them both in the first world war (For example, Talergof and Terezin) and in the second.

In occasion of Меркель - we will see. If the Germans vote for it - it's their choice. I do not care.

You are always talking about sinister NATO and German plans for Russia in the future but maybe you look in the wrong direction. The most NATO countries have decreased their military heavily in the last decades, for example Germany had over 600.000 soldiers and over 2000 Leopard 2 tanks in 1990, today we have 178.000 soldiers and about 220 Leopard 2 left?
Does that look like a war preparation?

On the other hand you have China, a country with an increasing population, a powerful economy and a skilled army but not enough land to feed their people. Today you have a migration on your Chinese border, they come into your huge country, ready to work and live there but they remain Chinese. The Chinese economy hurts their ecology badly, they poison their waters, they poison their land and they poison their air.

In Germany we had extreme pollution problems in the seventies, a lot of our rivers were dead and so on. We needed over 30 years to cleanup the mess and that was enforced by our population against the will of the industry and the established politic and it was expensive.

Maybe China will find another solution for that problem? In 20 years maybe?

Germany and Russia will have a decent relation when the Ukraine-Crimea crisis is settled, like before the crisis.

Not sure what you consider "dramatic" since Boeing is the top performing stock in the DJIA and I believe finished the week near a record high.

I don't think there is a correlation, business plans are changing often and Lutfhansa is also in talks with Air Berlin to use their leased airplanes and their staff. Maybe it's just less expensive to use the Air Berlin carcass.

China has taken to forcing companies who fail to comply to close. They are adding coal fired plants but they are trying to clean them up. Some cities do not allow individual use of coal to heat homes. Chinese car manufacturers are supposed to be cleaning their act up. But they are so far behind the 8 ball. Cities along the coast are not as bad as say Beijing but even they are horrible at times. The smog can be so bad it's darker than a full eclipse and that crap gets everywhere on and in you. They waited too long and I don't think their efforts are good enough. Add in the desert trying to take over the north even into Beijing and it's an enormous problem.

Boeing stocks will be quite volatile. They get big orders but the orders get cancelled and stuff all the time.
Airlines go bust and so on.

I did well on British Airways stocks after 9/11. They were real cheap.

Ah yes, that's what I thought. Boeing.

I wouldn't get too excited about share prices, I've been known to dramatically alter them myself.
Woot for Germany. As powerful as Baff.

Will Lufthansa buy from another company instead? Or is it downsizing it's fleet?

Lufthansa CEO Spohr said: maybe we ordered too much 777X and not enough Airbus A350.
