Then if he wins and the evidence is produced proving his quilt have the Senate remove him from office and the governor replace him. By the same token, if this story is proven to be a total fabrication engineered by political operatives, they should also be prosecuted and locked up. It's almost impossible to have the Senate remove a properly elected candidate even when they've actually been convicted of a crime and this is beyond the statute of limitations.
