Al Franken might resign due to sexual misconduct.
Bill Cosby will go back to trial for his allegations.
Weinstein will never work again. Not even as a busboy at Denny's.
Sexually abused women who speak out are honored as Time Magazine's Person of the Year.
And yet Trump is getting away with his sexual abuse allegations while a pedophile from Alabama who had little girls on his knee is still running for the senate?

How come some are getting away with it and other's are not?

Good thread. i suspect that the #metoo "movement" will backfire at some point. It already seems to be if "due process" or a "credible amount of evidence" (like the Roy Moore case) is not factored in. Might ask a mod to move this to the Opinion forum....

Probably because accusations with no proof, and lies like calling Moore a pedophile, only excite the gullible.

Rational minds tend to wait for proof, and aren't impressed by ideologues making stuff up.

Moore is not a pedo, he is an accused child molester and there is solid evidence that he trolled/hunted high schoolers while he was in his 30s.

I would think they are also not impressed with irrational denial.

Because they're allegations of stuff that supposedly happened before Trump was elected.
Was Moore ever convicted of pedophilia? No. Charged? No.
Why are you repeating that lie?
Telling a lie over and over isn't going to keep him out of the senate.

    Franken admitted it.
    Bill Cosby went to trial.
Weinstein will work again. Mark my words.

Agreed. That's something I've been wondering about with the most rabid alt-lefters.

Why do they think they can just make stuff up without people calling them on it? Pedophile, child molesters, etc., etc..

Irrational denial is the only conclusion that seems to make sense.

All Franken admitted to was a poor taste photo where he's not even touching her. I still think he should resign but that's a bogus argument. Conyers didn't admit anything.

So your are agreeing that Moore, a credibly accused teen mall hunter in his 30s is a child molester but should serve as a US senator then? He sure liked writing in teenie boppers year books when he was in his 30s, how many Dep DAs do you know that have a history like that? Irrational denial will place him in the senate is what you are agreeing to.

You surely must know that Moore wants that yearbook turned over to an independent third party for analysis but the accuser and her notorious DNC funded lawyer, Gloria Allred, refuse.

Who pays you to spread around your disinformation and lies?

Was he even charged with child molesting much less convicted? So much for your solid evidence.

No it's because the party is pushing him out. Dont be mistaken, I think he did it and should go. But if the standard for the right is admission, then they should defend conyers.

Are you saying the multiple Moore entries in the multiple teen yearbooks are not evidence that he seeked out teen children for interaction when he was in his 30s and had the influence of being a deputy DA? Can you clean that one off him or just ignore it?

He's an accused rapist, a proven serial adulterer and a convicted perjurer and engaged in an improper if not illegal workplace sexual relationship with a subordinate.

I must have missed charges and convictions for any of those things. Why do you hold Moore to a lower standard?

Clinton was disbarred for perjury and impeached by Congress for perjury and obstruction. He admitted to improper workplace sexual relations with a subordinate and he admitted to being a serial adulterer on 60 minutes but said he would stop which the Monica affair proved a lie.

If it's illegal to bang a subordinate why wasn't that among his impeachment charges?
