There's a tendency by people to believe glaciers are and should be stable which is why towns were built right next to them and subsequently destroyed as glaciers advanced

The median German house price is 220.000 €. Dont know what it is in $.

Thats what you get for my salary in Germany. Its what we call an "Einfamilienhaus". A normal, average house.

I know what Oregon looks like. I was there in 2016 november and it looked poor as well. So California is better?

Really? Why? Something you believe precludes this? This is the mentality that says, well, in San Diego today, it was 75, but tomorrow, it might me 75.1. Too hot for me, start up the global wealth redistribution scheme hatched by Goldman Sachs.... :roflol::roflol:

Kindly explore the mini ice age era and tell us how that fits with your views of climate range and rate of climactic change

In the alps we now have massive land slindes, because the ice retreats and the mountain cliffs start to collapse.

Yes it is. Same failed predictions over and over again and still the far left laps it up. Always good for a laugh. :)

Explore the mini ice age era? What does that mean?

This "scientist" are climatologist. They prefer to be called scientist for the same reason garbage men prefer to be called waste disposal experts. It just sounds better.

Did you know that erosion is a component of climate change? I suppose not. Look it up, great study released recently on this very subject.

Can you tell me one accurate high or low temperature from 1849? No, you can't, because we didn't start recording global temps until 1850. We're reaching historic lows right now, and here in Louisiana, we haven't broken but about 3 record highs which were all from the late 1800's. And the early 1900's still hold most of our record lows. But you guys love to say that you can't go by current temperatures to prove global warming is a hoax. I guess it only works if you wanna prove it's real, eh?

And a few hundred years ago glaciers were advancing and swallowing towns and farms. They advance and they retreat

Palm trees surviving in a country without palm trees? That's a new one.

Exactly. I knew they would dismiss any scientist that gave their data on why the Earth is about to go into a cooling era, and at the same time point and call me the science denier. It's just in their DNA to be ignernt.

The mini ice age was 100 years before the Industrial Revolution when multi tons of CO2 started to be released into the atmosphere and has little relevance to Global Warming.

When you predict EVERYTHING, so that every prediction can come true, wheres the science in that? It's like the Hurricane models. The models show EVERY possible path. One of them has to be right, at some point. You don't need a computer to draw 12 squiggly lines every 24 hrs, then say "LOOK, SEE, SEE!!!!". Being ****ing accurate a week out is something to be proud of or impressed by. Being accurate 12 hrs out is something a blind money can do. What's accurate is when in the mid 2000s they claimed FL would be getting hit EVERY YEAR by multiple major Hurricanes and we need to be VERY prepared for a change of life style, which turned out to be so ****ING WRONG.......thats reality. The audacity some of them had to actually pat themselves on the back this year, because they were finally correct after a decade...thats some balls for ya.

So silly. I recall many trips to the frigid Alpine cities in Switzerland to find palm trees surviving the winters there. Been to Montreux? Been there for as long as I can remember....

    Lucerne, Switzerland, same deal....

Right. The climate changed drastically and quickly well before the age of industrialization so claims that climate is changing abnormally fast now are false.

    From a year ago, Jan 12 2017 -

More wintry weather is on its way, but some places have already had enough snow to build dozens of snowmen - and interfere with daily commutes.
Freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall has left parts of Germany covered in constant blankets of snow this week, and weather forecasters predict more wintry conditions ahead.

Deadly Germany Snow Triggers Accidents, Cancels Dozens of Flights
At least two are dead after heavy snow fell in Germany, causing several accidents on roads and the cancellation of dozens of flights.

    https://weather.com/news/news/2017-12-03-germany-deadly-snowfall-early-December

Snow is a by product of moisture in the air - not super frigid temperatures. Lack of snow doesn't prove anything except lack of moisture in the air.

Last year we had record snows.
    https://weather.com/science/weather...seasonal-daily-snowfall-records-united-states

But let me get this straight. According to you, lack of snow in Germany proves global warming and record snows in the U.S.A., also proves global warming. How convenient for you. we're not buying it.
