What man could agree with all of that? They must really push it in higher education, frightening men and women with books like, "The Handmaid's Tale". I feel like there may be some mental illnesses involved.

Somewhat, but it's not a great compass. Neither of my two wives was a housekeeper(stay at home mom). They both either had to or wanted to work. I never had an issue with them working. I encouraged it. We needed the money.

I helped my daughter get her Bachelor's degree. I had no influence in her choice to become a stay at home mom with a part-time job. No, you can't tell for certain what anyone is thinking by what they defend. You can only have a glimpse into what they might be thinking.

You’re right....there are always exceptions to the rule. In my workshops I often hear people spew racism and then say they aren’t racist. When people defend racism, I generalize. When people defend sexism, I generalize because most times I am right
By the way, I wasnt referring to you.
Your daughter is lucky...she had choices most men don’t have . I was a stay at home mom and felt guilty because I didn’t love it. I went to a consciousness-raising meeting and the next week I was working. ;)

It’s fiction! Do you say the same thing about sci -fi books and flicks? Look at George Orwell books...was there mental illness? Maybe I am not understanding you, but who is mentally ill?

It is a handbook for the spread of fear and hatred, fiction or not. If it was truly looked at as fiction and not a sign of the possibilities, then it would not be required reading for anyone. "The Scarlet Letter", is used in the same manner, to help understand shame and change society.

That is so ridiculous. We had to read Jane eyre, the great gatsby, , call of the wild Anna karenina, Moby dick and hamlet. We’re they all signs of possibilities? Handmaids Tale was great satire .....

    A) it is from an online course written by someone with four years teaching experience
    B) no references no citations -so no better than a blog and
    C) you left out the preface

Find an American 12-year old to show you how to follow a link. All three of your questions will be answered there.

If you need to feel you are "winning", by all means, go for it.

For those who are self-actualized and actually followed the conversation, the question was asked if there was a definition of "radical feminization". I provided links to two definitions. If you want to fabricate a "win" for you from this, go for it but to me it looks like a desperate cry for attention.

There's nothing ridiculous about it. I was there and read the Scarlet Letter and discussed it. Many others were read and discussed, as well. Huckleberry Finn was one.

So all those people who took part in looting their Jewish neighbors homes weren’t Christians? all those who did nothing and joined in as their neighbors were being slaughtered were pagans? The pope was a pagan too?
Why did they all go to church? Christians like to do that...act as though Christianity is a club they can kick people out of
In his book Mein Kampf and in public speeches prior to and in the early years of his rule, he affirmed a belief in Christianity. Hitler and the Nazi party promoted "Positive Christianity". Actually it doesn’t matter what he believed.....he spoke to and appeased Christians, just the way trump does

Was that before or after he threw them in concentration camps along with the Jews, Gypsies and homosexuals?
