The issue I have CONSISTENTLY pointed to is that Trump has provided no clear way for parents to EVER see their children again.

EVER.

And, I'm beginning to believe the analysts who are suggesting that the "no care" attitude of Republicans comes as an expression of pure bigotry toward Hispanics.

Nobody could accept Hispanics as HUMANS and still suggest it's OK that Trump took their children away with no plan to EVER return them.

 

I guess that will depend on what the majority of Americans who are not far right or left think.

No where in the U.S. Constitution does it mention refugees.

Vattel's "Law of Nations" mentions refugees and under "Natural Law" the refugees we see at out southern border who broke Americas laws loose refugee status and very few if any meet the definition of being a refugee.

You are clearly misinformed. Crossing the border illegally for the first time is a misdemeanor. Americans are not thrown in jail for a misdemeanor. Only that is exactly what Trump is doing with his zero tolerance policy. He is arresting and charging everyone. That is the difference.

It might be pointed out, I posted a poll the other day, some 2/3 of Americans don't agree with the separation. Trump ended it because he realized it was a losing policy.

So its not just democrats who object to this. Most Americans do. It was a stupid policy, and one not followed by George W Bush when he was president.

 

Until just recently California listed something like 134 crimes as felonies.

Jerry Brown the liberals believe there should only be 12 crimes considered to be a felony.

Tonight in California I can kicked down the front door at 3:00 a.m. at someones home and knowing that the home owner can't shoot me I can take that flat screen tv off the wall and walk away and as long as that tv isn't worth over $950, and if I get caught, it's a misdemeanor treated as an infraction with no jail time if convicted.
