Why is it OK for online daters to block whole ethnic groups?

I created a thread on this topic a while back, and it looks like more progress is being made on this attack front by the left.

The term you will start seeing more of is “sexual racism”. If you are a white person who is not open to dating outside of your race, that’s a problem. And, of course, this is directed at only white people, the group most unwilling to date outside of their own race. Nobody is going to shame blacks for only dating blacks, or Asians for dating Asians. Whites are expected to do their part in making the world a less white place in the future, despite only being 9% of the world, and dating outside their race is a way to achieve this, so this is what is promoted.

That said, I do have some sympathy for Asian males and black females, the two groups featured in this article. They are truly the losers in this game of interracial dating, as they are statistically the least desirable to people outside of their own race. If they can’t find a mate in their own group, they have very limited options elsewhere, whereas the opposite sex in their respective races have other options. There was a book written by a black man a while back that advocated a movement to pair up Asian males and black females, but I really don’t think that will ever work.

I suspect in the near future all of these dating apps will remove someone’s ability to filter out profiles based on race. If someone indicates a preference in their profile, it will be grounds for suspensions or bans on these services.

 

You can't help attraction. And you can't help who you aren't attracted to. In 11th grade I asked out a half-Korean and half-Jamaican girl and she said she wasn't into white dudes.

 

This argument will not work in the future if you are white. If you simply explain that your preference is to date inside your own race, you will be called racist, Nazi, bigot, phobic, Hitler, etc.

 

The above coming from the guy who wouldn't let his son or daughter marry outside their race ... whatever.

 

Is that somehow a contradiction? I’m not seeing how it is.

Just seems hypocritical for you to claim you have the right to be bigoted against other races while at the same time chastising the rights of private businesses not to be bigoted.

My parents were racist a while ago. Being the part of Boston they grew up in, there were no black people (very little) in their neighborhood.

However I just ignored them when it came to my relationships. I used to hook up with a half-black girl right after college. She was fun, but wasn't looking for a relationship and I was.

very racist, and none taken. there are, to this day, about 6 black people and only half as many more mexicans on the minnesota iron range (“da range”) where i grew up. hell they’re even racist toward other whites if you are not scando/northern european.

 

Just as long as it gets disclosed to a potential marriage partner and they're okay with it, I don't see the issue.

As to the OP, yes I've noticed more and more claims of '''sexual racism". Will be mainstream on the left soon enough.

 

These dating apps have always given users the right to filter out races of people they are not attracted to, so it sounds like they didnt do much with the right you claim they have.

ah well we’re all pink on the inside. but no I don’t blame them, nonwhites are not the norm up on da range. it didn’t help that you had to drive thru north minneapolis to get to a vikings game. my poor dad would roll up the windows and put his .38 in his lap at the first sight of a black person. and in north minneapolis my god they’re everywhere!

 

So in a dating app, if you only check that as a guy you're only looking for a girl, does it make you a bigot and homophobic? =)

i don’t disagree but am also not willing to judge other people’s decisions. we know interracial couples and they are totally normal afaik.

 

It's a shame that people can't be themselves without some leftist bigot telling them they can'tbe themselves. People should be allowed to be themselves without any fear that they'll becalled a racist, a sexist or any other name a bigoted leftist can come up with.

If a person of a particular race or sex doesn't want to date someone of a different race or sex
they should be able to do so without some leftist bigot calling them a racist or a sexist. Come on,
there are black homosexuals that don't want to date white homosexuals. There are white people
who don't want to date Asians (see OP). This shouldn't be seen as a problem but as the Right to
Life, Liberty and the the Pursuit of Happiness (see Declaration of Independence.)

We need more Liberty and less polemic diatribe and less intolerance toward those who don't share
the same tolerances.

 

Interracial marriages should be publicly discouraged. When you look at the statistics and what it actually does to children You Realize it's almost all bad. There's no reason to do it other than to Virtue signal.
