To me that implies he had a big problem with it at first but learned to deal with it because it was outside of his control.

 

1) That is a great exaggeration -- four million people died from GULAG, exile, and execution.

2) Most excesses happened after Jews were driven out of power.

3) Socialism has many positive aspects -- all people have food, shelter, medical care.

My belief about the Human species is that there will always.....ALWAYS....be Anti-(pick an ethnicity). The United States has a history of racism against blacks, right now in many areas of Africa, blacks are persecuting whites. In Israel some believe that Israelis are persecuting Palestinians, there are even some people that believe Australians are persecuting Aborigines. All of over the world, since the dawn of time someone has be persecuted by someone based upon their believes, skin color, or culture.

With modern communication much of this has lessened, but some people also have the belief that the previous persecutor deserves it. As long as that belief is held the mass persecution of a people will never end, it just becomes a vicious cycle.

Will we ever be able to ride the human species of this....I don't believe so. At our core we are tribal, which has brought people of the same region of the world together, which has helped developed the societies of those people. The tribalism that has brought us together and helped advance societies however leads some people to believe they are better than others. This leads to racism at an individual level and persecution of a people at the societal level. I don't believe you can get rid of racism at an individual level, but you can at a societal level and it has been, in most places of the world......including the United States.

 

So then why do you keep doing it?

 

As you know, it's a very rich and complex history(that the article you link alluded to.) In the sense of a racial genome like Germans or even a British-American(or African-Americans), not so much. The intercrossing over the decades/centuries has made it so that Judaism is as mixed in around the world, as it is in the Jewish homeland(which is why in part, they pursue the supremacist policies inside of Israel. To 'preserve' what they've defined as the Jewish tribe.)

 

I am trying to end the institutional racism that continues to plague this country.
