I do not want to actually get into the dead Martin at the moment but a jury found Zimmerman broke no law. Martin however was trying to kill Zimmerman based on his actions and injury to Zimmerman. That has to be why the jury failed to convict.

Depends on the particular reservation. Believe it or not, CA is the leading state having reservations of the natives.

Here the Natives remained in their general area and not all the time, but as much as possible and they live in some very nice areas of CA.

Back when the natives were paid off, it must have been quite a lot since my own ancestors (in my view) pulled a Warren and tried to allege they were enough native to be also paid.

I did not hear it from Mom, I saw their actual filings with the Feds.

The Feds turned down my ancestors claims. DNA testing I paid for shows none of my ancestors were natives. NONE

I am not a serious viewer of the View. i check the first one or two segments to catch up on their hate fest against Trump and do other things.

You don't know that Martin was trying to kill Zmmerman. Most likely he was just beating up a guy he thought was a pervert who was following him in the dark. He would have been a hero if Zimmerman turned out to be a pervert that Martin caught and beat up. Martin was a kid, a teenager who didn't think like an adult and just call the police when he found someone he thought was a perve stalking him. Trying to portray Martin as some sort of evil bad boy is what a person who is of weak character and is a racist would do.

My other point was I saw how the Navajo live in AZ and believe me, those reservations suck the big weenie so far as i am concerned. The natives do not seem able to remove themselves from poverty.

This should be the lesson for all blacks.

A. Oprah is the most wealthy black female. She clearly ranks in the upper crust of all females in wealth. The others often had a head start. She had poverty.

B. She is very articulate. Blacks working on speech and being articulate clearly put themselves ahead of others of any race that are not similarly interested in speech or being articulate.

C. Oprah had the highest ever ratings for a talk show.

D. She never was a slave. To tie your identity to slaves probably means you want to think like a slave, not that you truly experienced being a slave.

E. If Milwaukee was a bastion of Jim Crow, I never heard of that.

F. She seems to have started making it big time in Chicago. I think her story on TV got it's start there. If I am wrong, don't fail to mention it.

G. On this, it is possible to correct me, but is her lover not white? Would she take on as a lover an inferior person? It is my impression that typically a woman wants the man to be better than what else is available. Oprah chose white.

She is a spectacularly different sort of person.

One that should be more than admired, to be emulated.

Oprah can become one of the wealthiest women in the world and Obama can be president, others can become AG, and poor rappers from the inner city can become media moguls, and poor athletes who come from nothing can be some of the richest guys in the country, but the U.S. is still a place where NO black people are allowed to succeed due to racism behind every bush?

Exactly. I'm sure they cherish their histories too. But African-Americans are the only group of people held in legal slavery in the USA. Irish people were indentured servants for a while, but they were never slaves.

In my part of CA the Native American reservations are in foothill area. The land is full of rocks, poor soil conditions. They do have a few lucrative casinos though. So, I guess they are doing OK.
