Two years, what a joke, that's not even close to enough time to understand the many cultures found in the U.S..

As for how I think, you are clueless as to how I think, that I can assure you of that.

 

You talk about Americans and how you perceive us. I think it rather arrogant of you to think that because you lived in some part of the US for two years that you somehow know all about all Americans. I once read a book about Scotland but I wouldn't presume to know everything about the place because I read a book.

Where did you live in the US that think you know all of us?

 

So in your time here when formulating your opinion about how wrong we are did you decide your way was better .... give me the maths

 

I was born here and have been around for five decades and still haven't discovered all of the variations of our many cultures and how they think, it is totally impossible for someone who visited the U.S. for a couple of years to have the slightest clue of what out society is about, more so when it comes to rather dangerous and violent subcultures that exist here.

 

It's called research, try it sometime.

What difference does that make?

Visiting a location does nothing to educate a person of what that location is really like, in fact such visits might actually distort the reality of many of those locations simply because of the lack of time being there and learning what the country is really like.

Worldly does not equate to knowledge.

 

There is no low level war in the majority of the country, it is a largely isolated violent obsession with killing to solve minor problems, the majority of the population is not effected by it and those who are have leadership who cares nothing about solving it.

It has nothing to do with apathy and a lot to do with the attitude "if one wants to live as a criminal in a criminal environment and live by the sword die by the sword I don't care about it," just keep it in your slum.

Bring it out of your slum and that problem shall be solved quickly.

For some reason you seem to think everyone here is obsessed with killing. I have never killed anyone. If we really wanted to be killing each other as you say, don't you think there would be many more dead? I mean we have 1.2 guns per person.

As a majority we don't, only a very small minority who is a subculture violence worshipping part of our society does.

How many acid attacks have been committed this year in the European union? How many victims have been permanently scarred, or otherwise had their lives ruined as a result? Give the most recent figures. Ask the victims if they feel their lives are better in their nations than the lives of those that live in the united states, and see what they have to say for themselves.
