And yet more people are employed than at any time in history, especially minorities and women, who are often the last to be hired.
cORPS DID not SHARE THE PAYOFF WE GAVE THEM. The corps did not share the tax cut. The right wing STILL believes in the tooth fairy. Which bathroom does it use?
And yet more people are employed than at any time in history, especially minorities and women, who are often the last to be hired.
That paltry misdirect, does not address the SERIOUS issue. CAPITALISM is not working any longer, as applied.
And yet Capitolism is working better here than any "Progressive" system anywhere in the Known Universe.
Your words, not mine. Again, you can read what I actually said as opposed to trying to re-write my comments and twist them into something else. Republicans are bad because they fail to stand by their principles. They whine about debt, and then spend more than anyone else as soon as you give them the purse.
If you have any actual evidence that the Trump tax cuts for the rich have increased demand please post it.
Well when you can post an employment chart thst shows any significant change since the Trump tax cuts that will be relevent. Of course you can't because the tax cuts made no difference in employment trends that started in the Obama administration and just continued into the Trump administration.
I received a Trump tax cut, and I'm not rich. I live paycheck to paycheck. I have $200 in my checking account right now. Why do you say the tax cuts were for the rich?
1st of all - can you at least add a link to your threads? You are continuously breaking rules here. 2nd - you don’t even live here (according to your posts elsewhere). 3rd - I was laid off at the end of July and found a better paying job closer home within 4 weeks. I had multiple final interviews in one day and multiple offers. This has never happened in my life before. I kept getting invites for job interviews 2 months after I stopped looking. In my position I hire people and guess what - finding talent is incredibly difficult these days. Job market is super hot and very favorable for employees. So your rant isn’t worth turd.
Because the vast majority of the benefits, on the order of 87% went to the top ten percent of the population. With an even more disproportionate amount going to the top 1%. And the corporate tax cut benefits overwhelmingly went to the people who own stock and who benefitted from divident increases and stock buybacks. Not saying that most people did not get something just that the tax cut which was touted as a " Middle Class Tax Cut" overwhelmingly benefitted the rich and not the poor or middle class.
I don't give a rat's ass if "the rich" (Democratic bogeyman) get tax cuts. Everyone should get tax cuts. I want another tax cut.
1. This will catch up with you. 2. Point is simple - you post like you really know the effect Trump had on the economy. In reality you don’t. 3. I was laid off due to reorganization - during mergers and acquisitions some redundancy is eliminated in order to achieve efficiency. I got a very nice severance package that was supposed to last me many months, but I found a better job and now that cash settled in my savings account. Wouldn’t happen if economy was bad. After I was laid off, the rest of the employees in my department (I was their manager) left voluntarily and all found new jobs on short notice. Now the company that laid me off lost entire finance department in Chicago - all due to employees own will. Again, crap like this doesn’t happen in bad economy. In bad economy entire department won’t just walk out if their manager was let go.
So...why not answer the question instead of posting an implied threat? You have no idea what I know or do not know. You make far too many assumptions. Are you in Chicago? Isn't that an economic (and some would ask, in other areas as well) basket case? Sounds like there was a great deal of industrial unrest in that Department.
Tax cuts cause corporations to pursue short term objectives at the expense of their own best interest thus causing economic downturns. Republicans are bad for the economy.
Taxes have no effect on demand. Your need for a particular product or service, has no relevance to your personal tax rate.
Ford laying off thousands of white collar workers,Verizon laying off thousands via buyouts,Siemens closing plants laying off workers, corporate and personal debt at all time high??
If you are going to stimulate the economy you put the money where it will be spent. You don't put it in stock buy backs and rich people saving it because after all who needs another car elevator..
