If we are still discussing making deserts green Israel does have some smart people

but also plenty of desert in Israel that they would be more inclined to deal with than the Sahara

 

I absolutely agree......
as a matter of fact I put a concise version of the Carl Cantrell theory in front of an exceptionally well informed Geography teacher several years ago and she informed me taht there are parts of the Sahara Desert that will be essentially impossible to ever turn green......
due to exceptionally hot and dry air currents in those particular areas.

Environmentalists are some of the dumbest **** twits I have ever met. I literally had to explain to one of them that one of their best allies are fishers and hunters. These dumbasses literally believe that hunters not only go out and shoot deer, ducks or whatever is in season but that the also pull down their pants and **** on every single tree and baby animal that they come across and toss beer cans and candy wrappers and soda cases everywhere as they walk along the trail. I had to explain.........this is just ****ing sad that I actually had to do this.....I had to actually explain that fishers actually prefer catching fish in clean pristine waters, you know cause they actually eat some of them. Who would have thought? For **** sake these people are morons.

 

The Norwegians have been active with their Sahara Forest Project that they assisted Jordan, Qatar and Tunisia to get going. (The technology is actually from Israel.)

I think most green organizations really want to save the planet or the part they are concerned about but i think they are clueless about how to do it.

for the life of me I cannot see how a Carbon Tax can protect the seemingly highly vulnerable land along the
Bay of Fundy from the obvious threat of rising ocean levels because....... there may well be a ten to fifteen times
multiplier effect on high tides in that area............

Anchorage, Alaska that has the second highest tides in the world for similar reasons will be very close behind the real estate
along the eastern area of the Bay of Fundy!

Canada produces less than two percent of global atmospheric carbon dioxide emissions so even if Canada were to spend billions of dollars annually on a Carbon Tax......... it could take a century or more for a Carbon TAx to begin to stabilize ocean levels...... and the cooperation of the USA, China and India would also be important!

Green Organisations largely consist of people who use climate alarmism as a rationalisation for mental- and eating disorders. Pointing at "science" as an explanation for their hysteria gives them an excuse not to look themselves in the mirror and tackle their own personal issues. Additionally, if they can force everyone to comply they are no longer an anomaly as being a vegan cry-baby becomes the norm. This is also why they label those who do not conform as the sick once with etiquettes such as "climate denier" and whatnot. Greta Thunberg is the perfect embodiment of this - A ypung girl with serious issues who go on a crusade to "save the world" instead of entering the therapy room to save herself.

Green policies are to 100% just a mean for the State to expand in size and increase their power. The solution to their perceived problems is to be found in free market solutions but laissez-faire economics means less government influence and since politicians a power hungry and malicious monsters, their solution is to regulate the market to give themselves more power.
