    No it doesn't give them a cloud of protection, but at least he served. So how does someone who NEVER served criticize someone who did, I guess that is acceptable in the Trump era.

    No by some trying to downplay his service period. He has been called a Maytag repairman, Janitor, etc. that is more than someone who hasn't stepped up to the plate to do anything.
