That depends entirely upon whether or not Smollett eventually receives jail time and how the leftist-allied Mainstream Media deals with once again getting runny propaganda-egg smeared across their collective face. So since the odds of the first are slender to none and the second -- well it's not even worth speculating on the second. End result? Zero lessons learned by the collective Left . . . period.

 

I think the biggest lesson is that A: We're all Americans, and B: That most people(emphasis on most) are not as evil as you'd think. FOX was pretty consistent about saying that Smellett wasn't being written outta the show - and there was a poster (can't remember her name ATM) who said he was one of the stars ON that show - wonder what's gonna happen now? They gonna edit him out, heavy re-shoots, what?

Either way, I suspect he's gonna be written out now - !

I accept your apology but hope this is a lesson to you that you cant let your Trump hate cloud your judgement you knew that the story sounded fishy from the start and when more and more evidence came to light to disprove Smollett's story instead of backing off and taking a second look you doubled down
that being said it took great integrity to admit you were wrong and I commend you for it

 

the irony of all this it was reported that he created this hoax because he believed he was getting written out of the show
well he definitely is now

 

the saddest part of all this isn't the stupid racist action by an individual motivated by his Trump hate which ruined his career and worse
but by creating this hoax to add to the long list of other racist hate crime hoaxes it caused the real victims of racist hate crimes to have their accounts looked at with skepticism and disbelieved and thats very sad

This is terrible and belongs as a warning to all who do moronic stuff like this. I see some are now (validly) questioning the "warning" he received the week before.... That was one of the things that I believed was somewhat supporting his story, but if he orchestrated that as well, there's no hell too good for this loser...

That being said, he'll make a comeback someday.... I still say if Michael Vick can do what he did and make a comeback, there's no bridge too far to come back from in this country...
