You are advocating making murder legal since it does not prevent all murder

No, just an analogy to your silly assertion that gun control can reduce all gun deaths. We can stop suicides by filling out a form too... signing an oath that the gun being purchased won’t be used to commit suicide.

It's an absolutely ridiculous analogy. Who ever said the goal is zero gun deaths.

    Ridiculous

Well if restricting some guns can save some lives then lets restrict all guns and save everyone.

We will need to bubble wrap the entire house to prevent trips and falls too

    Huh ?
And to think mental health has always been on background check history. What negligence. Now mental health should be disregarded in gun ownership ? Of course it plays a roll. This is reason why private sales back ground checks are necessary. Even the NRA whines about not doing enough with mental health in restricting gun ownership.

Great idea. All firearms should be registered and require a permit to possess.

It does reduce gun deaths overall in every industrialized country. Don’t go there. You’re wrong if you do. There are no studies to support the idea that fewer gun laws means fewer gun deaths of all kinds in industrialized nations.

Slander for the truth ? The NRA has publically admitted to getting foreign donations and monies from manufactaturers p. It’s a pretty rediculous thing to deny when it’s tax information and gun makers routinely volunteer to do things like pay the nra dues of people buying their guns.
Ruger payed one dollar for every gun sold to the NRA. That’s millions of of dollars. They advertised the fact.

What may or may not be believed by any particular individual is not relevant to the discussion. Millions of citizens of the united states believe Barak Obama was not a citizen of the united states, but that being believed does not make it true.

There are beliefs, and there are facts. The notion that firearm manufacturers are paying the NRA to represent them specifically rather than their members is a belief, but nothing relating to actual evidence has been presented to confirm that it is a fact.

Cite the confirmed evidence the proves the above claim is factually accurate.

Does the presence of a firearm force an individual to use it for the purpose of ending their own existence?

Would such actually serve to prevent the use of firearms for the purpose of committing suicides? If so, explain precisely how.

All motor vehicles are registered and subject to permit requirements, yet such has done nothing to prevent their regular misuse from occurring.

Every time I buy something from Palmetto State Armory or Midway USA they ask if I want to round up my total to donate to NRA. Oh, noes, my Kennetrek boots paid NRA salaries!

You’re not a gun maker with a commercial interest. Neither are you a foreign power. You’re vote counts in our elections. I guess you don’t mind if Russia has a voice in our elections, or gun makers can decide what’s best for their profits.

You don’t mind if foreign powers donate and hold sway over decisions Trump makes. He publicly supports Russian over our own intel and govt. Thats illegal....? You seem to think so when you thought Clinton’s were ok with selling yellow cake or whatever crappolla you were making up. But Trump, that’s OK.

Come on. Don’t be so uninformed. Its amazing how car safety and regulation has dropped car deaths as much as it has,,,,compared to poorly regulated gun deaths. Gee, the nra keeps telling us the more guns we have, the safer we should be. Probably the dumbest thing the nra has ever said. And still, gun cults buy it.

We have 200 million more guns now than we did in 1989. What are the homicide rates for 1989 and 2017?
