Didn't say that. I'm just pointing out that I never asked for all that crap you say our wise overlords are giving me.
'Crap' like education, and access to healthcare? Ironically, universal education to the highest levels (consistent with students' abilities) could be 'free' (ie funded by IMF money printing, without causing inflation)*, if we had an international rules-based system. (hence eliminating the unsustainable student debt problem in the US, for example) *Free, because education is the transfer of knowledge from teacher to student: the resources consumed are mostly time and mental effort from the participants, which are free and unlimited, like the air we breathe.
Education in all states is locally funded. And i have not had formal education handed to me since 1956. What healthcare is provided by Government? I think if the Democrats wised up, kids would be taught, nay trained highly, to set goals, make plans and measure progress. This way they can climb out of poverty. Books on how to get rich focus a lot on this one topic. Think and grow rich and material by self improvement groups focus a lot on this topic. Carnegie taught it as well.
There's your obsession with 'you' again. Note: the outlook promoting the 'we' took control of the lower house recently. Carry on.
I didn't realize that I was talking to a communist. Now I understand your disdain for individual desires. So I can understand your disapproval of my own individual aims and goals. I understand that, as a commie, these are of no consequence to you.
"According to the US department of Education, the Federal Government contributes about 8% to funding US public schools. To fund the remaining balance per student in the public education System, state and local governments are mandated to allocate money towards education." "taught, nay trained highly..." Having trouble saying "educated", including an examination of reality, truth, and knowing the difference between these and ideology? And in an increasingly complex, technological world of global markets, education is vital.
If your own aims and goals are compatible with equitable, universal, sufficient access to the world's life-sustaining resources, - not the same as equality of outcome, which is my conception of communism) -, then you have no disapproval from me.
the 'income tax' was instituted during wwII to fund it, no where is the irs an official us gov agency, the tax was supposed to end when the war ended, it is an illegal act to continue collecting... the gov & the country ran fine prior to wwII, now the big difference is just how wealthy the politicians themselves become... most had nada 'till elected into office, and now politics is the biggest draw for earning big money... peeps need to wise up, start using the rules against those that tyrannize us... it's easy & legit to not pay taxes, and in fact, receive refunds without ever paying in a single cent... you need to hire a 'top notch' corporate accountant
The reason for taxation, is to control the wealth of the working class. If the working class was able to prosper beyond a certain point, many would retire early and that would have negative consequences for the upper classes. To understand this comprehensively, it is important to understand what wealth is. Wealth is not money, or assets, it is labor. Labor creates all wealth, so if you want to control wealth, you must control labor. If labor is allowed to prosper, it will have consequences on the supply and demand and thereby the cost of labor. For employers, it is beneficial to have a system that requires workers to work their entire useful life, at low wages. This can only be accomplished if workers are kept at or below survival level. Taxes are one, but not the only tool used for doing this.
