Old Harry Truman had pluses and minus check marks by his name. He did have two things right. He said Congress should have term limits too. He said it would eliminate all the senile old fools, and break then nonsense of seniority. And the second thing he was right about is if you get rich in politics, you are a crook. He left office with only a modest amount of money. Strangely he and Bess drove home to Mo in his old Ford car.
He also did great to support the creation of the State of Israel. President Truman and the creation of Israel.
I do not disagree with term limits. But do you think that our senators and Congress men actually write and read the Bill's, are truly have a heavy hand in how DC runs. You can clean house every few years but you will still have the entrenched staff in place that might even be a bigger problem.
