Sure, and then there’s Benghazzi. Anymore conspiracy theories ?

Life is simple. Either you believe in democracy, and science, or you don’t.
That’s the bellwether for us. There is nothing in Hillary’s life as a public servant in the senate or as Secretary of State even according to republican co workers in the senate , that indicated anything else....nothing.
    Trump on the other hand......

Independence would have been a 'no' vote. What was the purpose of 'present'?

clearly it is only to avoid a record of a 'no' vote on impeachment. Political cowardice was the presiding principle for her, on this day at least.

the funny thing is dems do not want him removed, they want him to run in 2020, they know the right will defend Trump bad deeds, they have said so publicly

Trump will get out the dem vote in 2020 in record numbers

While many say there is no such thing as bad publicity, I disagree. She's done more damage to her personna than if she'd voted 'no'. I respect views opposing mine, but I have little time or respect for fence sitters and cowards.

Trump was elected as a result of abuses and corruption that occurred during the Obama administration.

    Answer just one question:

How was Putin able to get Koch-Glitsch pipeline technology that was sold to Burisma for the gas pipeline that Russia built in the Crimea?

    Google is your friend.

Alexa could also be helpful, if you have access.

Anyway, that seems way Off-Topic for a thread about Tulsi Gabbard.

Anyway, as to the OP, my only thought as to Tulsi's "motivations" would be that she is already setting herself up for a paid gig at Faux News.

    Oh yeah. Me neither.

However, many people (who use the technology) find it helpful in finding the answers to certain questions.

Anyway, I really do think that Tulsi would be better off just resigning and taking a job at Faux News.

Or, in the alternative, leaving the Dem Party and finishing her term as an Ind. (Like Amash).

She wouldn't be doing herself any favors that way, of course, since independents generally have little chance of succeeding in American politics.

Anyway, she wasn't too hard on Pelosi, and she wasn't siding with Republicans in her critiques:

“You can’t kind of just shift and change and make up the rules as you go along," she said. "If you’re going to pursue this process, you’ve got to let it play out the whole way through.”

Gabbard said the delaying their delivery perpetuates a sense of hyperpartisanship, adding that both parties are to blame.

“This is not just on part of the Democrats — you see on those who are defending Donald Trump, you see a blind loyalty to their party’s leader,” she said.

Depends on what ceiling you are talking about.

Progressive elites are losing their Black support and they have no desire to work hard to keep it.

Gabbard is gaining popularity. I wouldn't be surprised if she takes on Hirono down the road.

Tulsi would NEVER be able to Win a Primary against Hirono.

However, if Tulsi would've stayed in her box (and toed the Dem. Line), Tulsi would've been the Heir Apparent (when Hirono retired).

Now, whoever wins Tulsi's Seat in 2020 would have the inside track to replace Hirono (If she retires).

If Tulsi had any long-term goal of ever holding a Hawaii Senate Seat, she can forget about it now.

I think "suicidal" better describes voting "present." No one likes you.

Clausewitz doesn't function exactly that blindly like the Chauvinistic following of Napoleon.

The continued inability of Democrats to understand why Trump is politically beating the tar out of them is based on the assumption of Gabbard and many many others.

Trump's not beating the tar out of anyone. Not sure why you would think he is.

Recent polls have him leading all Dem candidates, most importantly in battleground states. Peace and prosperity isn't a bad platform to run on.

Trump is currently leading against any Dem candidate in Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin and even in Minnesota. Pennsylvania is a toss up.

Just keep the Impeachment hoax going...
