I agree he's the stupidest politician we've had so far... then again he was real close with obama... bird of a feathers...
It's bound to have been a stupid accident, just like what happened in Ukraine with MH-17. Damned shame. Hopefully some good can come out of it, like Iran giving more careful thought to the perils of their continuing hostility. They can clearly see that with military hostilities come terrible accidents like this one.
I don't think you know what you are talking about at all. There was absolutely an expiration date and it was approaching fast. The Obama deal was moronic. I work in the nuclear energy and nuclear weapon industry. The "inspections" in the deal were meaningless. It was a scam and then Obama paid the Iranians BILLIONS that invaded U.S. Soil and held our people hostage for over 400 days.
If it was shot down by Iranians it begs the question who was on the plsne? Or at least who did they think was on the plane? Just wild speculation on my part really Undercover cia? Mi6?
I agree with that. The likelihood is just too low that the plane had a malfunction the same night rockets were flying. I hope they fess up and admit. However, saving face at all cost may be too important. I don't know what it is with politicians all over the world that prevents them from telling the truth.
people who work in the nuclear weapon industry have a secret clearance and do not disclose they work in the nuclear weapon industry.
lol... not true. I did have higher clearance in the past for my work at Y12, but the work I do now doesn't require it.
You don't need a 'theory' for that: under the applicable rules, Iran is the side that is entitled to lead the investigation. Besides, why would Iran trust foreign powers which are beholden to an enemy it is almost at war with to hold the investigation instead? That is ridiculous. The fact that Iran has already agreed to share all the information with the Ukrainian team being sent to Iran to investigate the issue is more than is warranted under the current circumstances. And many of these "more than warranted" acts are courtesy of our useless government of so-called moderates and reformers.
Yep. I figured it was a dumb accident as soon as I heard about it, given the timing. I'm sure the Iranians were very jittery about an air attack. I don't know why the Iranian authorities didn't put a temporary halt on flights taking off if they were going to go launching an attack that might bring on a US military response. Terribly irresponsible of them.
I can't access the article because of paywall but the NYT apparently has obtained a video of a missile hitting the airliner.
If your government is so dumb as to let civilian aircraft take off from Tehran's airport without shutting down their military's defense missile systems....which can be set on automatic so that a human is not needed to pull the trigger....then your government isn't competent enough to either lead an investigation nor examine a black box.
