https://www.tmz.com/2020/01/26/kobe-bryant-killed-dead-helicopter-crash-in-calabasas/ Kobe Bryant died in a helicoper crash in Calabasas Sunday morning ... TMZ Sports has confirmed. Kobe was traveling with at least 3 other people in his private helicopter when it went down. A fire broke out. Emergency personnel responded, but nobody on board survived. 5 people are confirmed dead. We're told Vanessa Bryant was not among those on board. Eyewitnesses also tell us that they heard the helicopter's engine sputtering before it went down. The cause of the crash is under investigation. \ ====================================================== I am heart broken as a huge Laker fan since I was a kid. =( That's my home office.
No. She has 4 little daughters and no father for her children. She was already set for life. This a heartless post.
Wow... just heard that on the TV... shocking... 41... so many years ahead of him... Never an NBA fan, but I obviously know the significance of Kobe. I hope the end wasn't painful and RIP...
The world we live in today pretty much means that everyone who ever laid a finger on that chopper is going to be sued into oblivion.
Agreed, Mr. HB. Wow. :smh: Hard to believe someone would use this tragic occasion for such a Cynically HEARTLESS Observation. Happy to see that we find ourselves in agreement on this one. RIP Kobe. And Vanessa and the Girls have My Love and Prayers.
Witness said the engine sputtered before landing. This is a twin turbo shaft aircraft. How does a turbine engine sputter, when you hear a helicopter flying, you don’t really hear the turbine, and a twin should be able to land under the power of the remaining engine if one should fail. Even in the event of both failing a landing by auto rotation should be achieved assuming enough altitude.
Human memory is very unreliable. It was probably a CFIT, lots of fog in the area. Maybe another SRV type accident?
I just read a report his 13 year old daughter Gianna was on the helicopter too. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.tm...nt-killed-dead-helicopter-crash-in-calabasas/ How sad..... RIP
Total bummer. RIP Kobe. The one take away I have from this is justification for my fear of small aircraft.
I've heard he was into some illuminati type stuff. Maybe he was about to come out and support trump. People who hide hurricane relief from hurricane victims will justify any action.
