exactly, many that have died have not been autopsied yet, and may never be, could just be flagged as the common cold

but the point is, Trump made this an issue for himself, had he just deferred to the experts rather then trying to mislead the people, he would have been fine

Trump tried to act like the expert and take credit for solving the issue, then gets upset when he later gets criticized over giving out false information

there is not enough tests, and the doctors are not gonna go through the hoops to get one just cause you want one, if everyone that wanted one could get one, we woudl be out of tests for those that need them

they are responsible for their actions, if they are using their license and credentials to give out false information that could harm their patients, yes, that could lose them their license, if someone dies or is injured from that false information, they could be sued

what if a doctor put up a sign in their office saying if you have corona, go to a shopping mall and walk for a couple of hours a day there as it will improve your circulation as their advice? Freedom of speech?

if we had free drive through testing, we would see the rate go up dramatically, to deny that defies common sense - on the flip side the death rate would go down percentage wise

that said, most will survive it just fine, seems to be those with underlying medical conditions that are most at risk for most serious effects of the disease

 

No, we are at the lowest in terms of total population infected, per million, is three fold.

1) The first confirmed person to person infection is ~8 days old.
2) The country is fairly spread out across a large geographical area.
3) There are not enough tests to accurately gauge the total number infected.

 

It's kinda like Katrina. I had damage, but not catastrophic damage, and so I waited six weeks to call my insurance adjuster so those who were really hurting bad could go to the front of the line. The adjuster appreciated it. So I'm not going to no doctor to get no test having no symptoms when others have a direct need.

We had water whenever I hooked the generator to the well and filled the blue cans. We had a large cache of food stocked in. We had a comfortable stand-up-in tent and comfortable cots. We had generator electricity on demand. We could protect ourselves from looters. Others were hit much harder with no preparations, or lost their preparations in the storm surge.

I wasn't afraid then and I'm not afraid now, just cautious and well prepared.
