Trump's peddling of false hope is not helping

You cant win with the left....the good news is the left cant win in elections any more

 

I think thats why they like people like AOC.

She is very pretty and very passionate. They seem to think that passion belies truth. It doesn’t. YOu can speak passionately about something while being wrong.

If only they were as right, a they are passionate.

The honest and sad answer is yes. I did try. I really did try. Then he said I was too expensive for the military. When that happened I couldn’t respect him or what he was trying to do anymore. Then the human rights violations kept coming in. I really tried but nothing came of it.

 

The simple reality is that Trump has repeatedly spewed falsehoods - claiming the coronvirus was under control, was nothing to worry about, that it was simply going to go away, that everyone who had it was getting better, that anyone who needed a test could get a test, that hospitals did not need the personal protective equipment and ventilators for which they were pleading, all as he befouled his alleged news conferences with his embarrassing self-congratulations, derisive nicknames to mock political rivals, with blame for his predecessor, continually lashing out at reporters who posed questions he doesn't want to address, and all while issuing a stream of dubious or false assertions.

Incredible as it may seem to those who unquestioningly venerate Trump and revile anyone who does not, many Americans have higher standards regarding steady, trustworthy, reassuring, unifying leadership in a time of national crisis.

A sample of unhelpful behavior:

After Pence was named to lead the federal response, he had thanked Governor Inslee of Washington for his heroic efforts to fight coronavirus and asked what assistance the federal government might offer. Inslee told him they would be more successful if the Trump administration stuck to the science and told the truth.

Sticking to the science and telling the truth would appear to be sound advice. Trump's response to it?

“I told Mike not to be complimentary of that governor
because that governor is a SNAKE!”

Fanatical trumpers seem to thrill at this sort of puerile tantrump, and can't get enough of it.

Others view it as squalid and discordant, sabotaging what should be a common goal.

 

I hope that turns out to be the truth.

But, they do have a lot of young people who believe their nonsense. Don’t discount them yet.

 

This simple truth is Trump has put forth excellent information, and taken excellent actions that have saved many lives. He has been a true leader.

 

Reminds me when the left was asking if conservatives could say anything nice about obama.

 

Correct . . . or at least they can't if they really are going to choose obviously senile Joe Biden as their presidential nominee. No matter how hard they try to protect Joe they can't help him when finally he has to conduct face to face debates with Trump. Not even rigging the process with blatantly partisan leftist hosts is going to be enough to protect Joe at that point.

 

Obama is out of the Oval Office; and that is nice. He defied Climate Change experts and purchased low lying beach front property for many, many millions of dollars; which is nice. He mysteriously became a many times over millionaire the instant he left the Oval Office; which is nice for him. See? Good things.

 

It’s crazy that people think Trump is doing this to enrich himself when Obama came out a millionaire lol.

 

I think that would calm the minds of a lot of those that lean left. Ignore your president, turn off all media, have a glass of wine and hug your cat.
The rest of us will sort out what we choose from the briefings and be grateful that President Trump is doing his best to keep the lid on the kettle

Yep, he overnight went from being worth about two million dollars to about forty million dollars, and his worshipers never even blinked.

 

I'll be 69 next month, have no pre-existings. I'm not one to be over cautious, but I decided to be very careful about how I interact with the world. We have been using instacart and curbside and I spray stuff we buy or wipe with Lysol wipes. As we close in on planting season, I will have to choose whether to go into Home Depot. I like growing herbs and veggies and don't want to give that up.

 

I said a lot of nice things about Obama. My firearms stocks shot through the roof, pardon the obvious pun, and our training facility was booked solid for six years. Thank you, President Obama, you were the greatest gun salesman in history.

 

MSNBC only cares about removing Trump. They don’t care about the virus, unemployment, China, or anything else.

 

Ive been ignoring him for years. Why waste time listening to him when I can just come here and see why everyone is mad?

 

And a month before the NYC health commissioner was telling people to go out and enjoy themselves.

 

It’s impossible to social distance in most areas in nyc and many who live there are health compromised. It less little to do with neglecting warnings.

 

If you listen to the left, all we can do is dutifully die and accept our fate as their death panels restrict access to health care..... This really is what happens when you put socialists in charge of stuff.....

 

It has less to do with what Trump says then what he does. He surrounds himself with incompetence.

 

He has done an excellent job.

 

And yet Cuomo kept the NYC airports wide open from everywhere. Gosh.. It's like he's culpable and stuff...

 

Actually Bill DeBlasio was aping exactly what Trump had been telling you and the entire country in his daily briefings. He switched gears once he realized that following the 'leader' was a massive error in his part. The other Dem, Andrew Cuomo has been doing an amazing job of leading NY despite all the crap he's been getting from the White House.
