Do you know the difference between debt and deficit ? Obviously not. As soon as I explain you were wrong about the deficit, you jump to the debt, which is a function of compound interest and exponential growth. The debt grows exponentially regardless of who is president until the deficit for that year is BELOW ZERO and the debt begins to get paid down

Thats HS math. Budgets deficits must reach zero of below or they still grow exponentially. You have said nothing to indicate you know what you’re talking about. Why don’t you check to see how much Trump and the gop just raised the Debt ! Huh. It will make Obama look like a math wiz.

    Ha ha ha ha ha.

that takes years...mean while without insurance , the middle class is uninsured and could have higher death rates Great idea. The biggest cause of Bankruptcy are medical costs Universal healthcare is cheaper. Obamacare Aline increase jos by 20,000 per month in some years....Obamacare helped fix the economy. It’s not a new idea, the English started universal healthcare while recovering from ww2...it helped FIX their economy.

They weren’t relevant facts to change the subject. Name the institution that uses them to refute AGW. Do you actually think you’re smarter then MIT ? I’ve yet to see a relvent institution use your little scheme to cast doubt in AGW...are you smarter then they are, you haven’t indicated you know what compound interest is and it’s effect in our national debt, that’s real data.

    Or even Obama per se...:salute:

    You beat me to it.

    That is an OPINION.

And, as everyone knows, "opinion pieces" do nothing to back up a "position".:salute:

Exactly. Some of this herd think their opinion is fact...Barr was asked the other day about whether of not what he was saying was factual. His response was, it depends upon who’s in power. ( and he represents president Trump) so what trump and he says, it must be true. They’re the ones in power....

Yep the taxes and regulations it placed on business as we were trying to come out of the 2008/9 recession was like adding an anchor to a sinking ship. And if the Democrats take back power they will do the same as we try to get out of the COVID economy.

False I have pointed out the folly of assigning deficits and debt solely to who was President at the time. It was the DEMOCRATS who doubled the deficit and took the last Bush/Republican deficit of a measly $161B heading to surplus to $1,400B in just two years. And then their failure to pass measures to get the economy back on track and people back into the workforce instead passed expanded unemployment benefits making it easier for people not to work and we are seeing that now as employers complain that people are receiving so much government "aid" they are refusing to come back to work.

And again after the Bush tax rate cuts tax revenues EXPLODED as the economy took off and we had 52 months of full employment, rising incomes and that is what helped bring down the one year deficit peak of $400B down to that $161B. The Democrats never came close to the Republicans WORST deficit during that time.

I said nothing about Obamacare, get your facts straight.

    I said

Apparently you think it is only about a number and who was President. A notable intellectually shallow view. Not math. But do show your math that proves Bush was responsible for the Democrats budgets in 2008 and 2009.

The Democrats including one Senator Obama who fully supported the Democrats polices took back the Congress a year before the recession. You don't "inherit" what you were part of and that was their lack of proper measures to help mitigate the depth and length of the recession and get us into a full recovery, stop trying to make excuses and divorce him of that responsibility. He promised his stimulus would hold the unemployment to just 8%, instead it shot to 10% and stayed over 8% for the next three years and only slowly drifting down not because of anything he did but because of private business struggling to get back on track in spite of the roadblocks the Dems put in front of them. All that spending was a total failure. And the Democrats increased the deficit NINE FOLD, a deficit that had been heading to surplus, so your statement about reducing it by 60% as some great accomplishment is laughable on it's face and in fact it took the Republicans taking back the House and forcing budget sequester and asterity that cut the defict NOT anything Obama and the Democrats did, they were stuck with passing continuing resolutions to keep the deficit of $1,000B because they were so inept they could not even pass budgets.

You should start dealing in facts and history.

We got our Florida vote by mail order forms yesterday. We can get them, and if we choose to go to the polls, all we have to do is bring that ballot with us, so they can destroy it. If we show up without a ballot, we will not be allowed to vote in person.

If we lose it, we don't get another.

So, potential for fraud seems fairly non-existent.

Reminder that we've had absentee ballots since the Civil War.
