ANTIFA seizes 6 blocks in Seattle, and declares it a police free zone.

The police made a very limited incursion into the CHAZ zone today according to the Times.

Without removing the governor it would be pointless. And which constitutionally -secured rights are those goons violating?

 

There is precedent to use federal troops or federalized national guard because we did in 1965 (Watts), 1968 Murder of MLK riots, and early 1990's Rodney King. So trump has precedence.

What he does not have are the conditions at this point in time tonight that warrants federal intervention. He also lacks an invitation/ request.

Conditions if deteriated will override lack of invitation.

 

I haven't expressed support one way or the other. I understand you have to lash out when backed into a corner because the facts don't fit your dramatic imagination, though.

What you do? Keep them contained for a short time and work out a peaceful resolution unless they riot, burn, loot, murder.

My point is the opening post said 6 blocks. Now it says 16 blocks. I asked if it is 16 blocks I want to see it because if it has gone from 6 to 16 blocks that would mean this is accelerating. That would be dangerous. That would mean the mayor would need to accelerate countermeasures.
Going 6 to 16 is almost 3 times expansion.

 

Of course you base trumpers are totally misinformed by the GOP propaganda machine there is no violence going on it's a street party with little concerts and free food and the atmosphere of a street party. The cops will be back tomorrow says the mayor. Six blocks and you think antifa has taken over Seattle or at least Fox does. Change the channel you are being taken for a ride for 30 years now....

That is why I asked someone else here if there really 16 blocks now under ANTIFA like control. Yes if it is growing and it is ANTIFA that could mean that ANTIFA is more organized and more widespread.

I'm not sure the local authorities know what is and what is not under control much less by whom. A side effect of losing parts of one' s city I guess.

 

It's not a constitutional right. Constitution does not even guarantee or protect life. These things are state matters.

 

Maybe that guy was hit with a TYPO and added 10 blocks. I hope that is what it was or we will have trouble right here in Boeing City.
