Well of course hospital get paid for giving care to someone hospitalized? Are you saying they shouldn’t? Do you think COVID cases are some type of cash cow? The hospital system I work for already lost close to 2 billion as a result of COVID. That is because many other elective procedures were put on hold. Not to mention less people commuting means less car accidents which means less trauma related hospitalization and less PT at our rehab clinics.

I am not a doctor nor scientist so I have no idea. But just like I would listen to my plumber for something plumbing related, I tend to listen to doctors and scientists when it comes to things like a virus. I certainly would never pretend to know more than those educated in a field I wasn’t.

You are incentivized to find covid cases by Medicare. No one cares whether you think your employer is losing money or not.

 

How so? If someone had COVID but was at beginning stages for them and they weren’t wearing a mask you don’t think that person could have spread it?

 

Yup, cloth masks, surgical masks, etc.. which cannot filter out viruses and do not protect the eyes, yeah, those are supposed to save your ass from COVID? Not.

You talk to someone with those masks, they breath out, and the virus can float right into your eyes, or get breathed into your cheap mask.

The thing with those cloth masks is many of them make it harder to breath, so you breath heavier, which causes a larger volume of air soaked virus to be exhaled to be carried even further.
