Lots of Board of Directors positions are filled with people who only bring a name for recognition to impress stockholders. They serve no other purpose than public relations. It's why lots of defense contractors put retired generals and admirals on their board. Name recognition to get contracts. Ain't rocket science.

I'm sure there are lots of rich people that keep more $$ in there businesses and corporations to help protect themselves from personal liability.
