Leftists around the Western World are increasingly 'the wealthy', while the working classes are heading to the Right. Beneficial to the wallet, sure (as long as the degree obtained actually translates to secure well paid work, of course). It has no tangible benefit to non-fiscal aspects of the individual's life.

This is why the reaction will be very different depending on who wins. The right leaning will get on with our lives and be fine. The president affects my life very little. The left on the other hand, they are so dependent on politics that they'll throw the adult version of a temper tantrum if it doesn't go their way. Biden winning actually saves billions in damages to cities, no telling how many lives saved as well.
