You do not need a license to buy a car, own a car, keep a car on your property, use a car on private property, or transport a car in public property. You do not need to register a car to buy it, own it, keep it on your property, use it on private property, or transport it in public property. How does what you want in any way align with what we do with cars?
You cannot demonstrate the necessity for, or the efficacy of, the wholesale registration of firearms and licenssure of their owners. As such, these restrictions amount to infringements upon the right to keep and bear arms and violate the constitution.
Heller struck every restriction before the court, and upheld none. Your statement has no basis in fact.
And also explicitly stated gun control is not unlimited and that gun control will and should continue.
My position is that second amendment rights are not unlimited, per the supreme court. Word for word from the DC v Heller decision: "Like most rights, the Second Amendment right is not unlimited."
Well maybe if you read the decision instead of just falsely claiming to have read it, you wouldn't be making this embarrassing error.
Well i made the mistake of thinking functioning adults would go read it themselves. Especially ones who repeatedly claim to have read it. I suppose i should just get used to the dishonesty and laziness here.
In reality, functioning adults understand the burden of proof - especially in a forum intended to foster debate - lies with the person making the claim. How is it -you- do not understand this?
Now that you understand the burden of proof lies with he makes the claim... Of those considered by the court in Heller, which limits placed upon the rights to keep and bear arms were upheld as constitutional?
The constitution guarantees the health and weak fare of the people, which is just as valid way of supporting the drugs available by states as it is firearm laws. You talk like firearms are not regulated like drugs are. They are...
