    If I was chief of police for DC I would have had the officer shoot rubber bullets the moment they moved the barricade and then order the use of live ammo if they didn't get back and have their hands up in 30 seconds.

    They are not protesters. They are insurrectionists attempting a coup. Compare their actions with the massive, peaceful demonstrations following President Trump's inauguration. They have breeched the Capitol building and invaded both houses of congress as well as the office of the house speaker. Capitol police, metro police, and the national guard have been called out to quell the disturbance. Many cameras are in play, and many of the insurrectionists can easily identified. I foresee trials and long, long prison sentences in the offing.

If Trump is responsible for these idiots than Democrat leaders are certainly responsible for MONTHS of riots and 100s of millions in damage across the country. They openly supported them calling it peaceful, as bombs were being thrown, cop cars were being burned, people getting shot. Police ordered to stand down and LET IT HAPPEN! Own THAT!!

    You think the DP House is incapable of holding public fact hearings?
    In fact, they did just that throughout the Trump presidency. You just did not like the truth when it came out. ;-)

    Hearings in November would have ended in indictments of the Trump team or new elections.
    You should have been able to welcome either result.
